Shayne Williams’ Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 19, 2025April 18, 2025 | Posted by Shayne Williams CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 1 Ferndale Flyer Love the step up in trip from trainer Gordon Hind, took a while for him to work it out, but got the cash last start and I just think he’s been screaming out for the 601 metre trip, little bit tardy early but he just smashes the line over the 520, gets the inside draw he will hug the rail and push through the gaps. One of the better bets I’ve seen in a long time. Very very keen. Tips: 1-6-7-2 Race 8 No. 3 Night Lighter Had been running around over the short Sharp trips, but stepped up to the 381 last start, absolutely flew out and went blistering early splits, was run down right on the line, that was a much harder race, can get the front here, and If he can clear out early he just might pinch a race winning break. Tips: 3-6-7-8 Race 12 No. 2 Common Man Hasn’t had much luck in recent runs, mainly due to the poor draws, goes into box 2 tonight and looks a race he can get the rail and the lead, if he does he’s a sub 30 winner here not to long ago, clear cut danger in 7 will be hard to beat, but courtesy of the draw we will lean towards Common Man. Tips: 2-7-5-1 Market Market
