Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on November 25, 2024November 25, 2024 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (6) is a consistent performer who steps soundly and over the short course, can use that advantage and run a strong race, looks very hard to beat. CYCLONE KADABRAMELIA (7) can be forgiven for the last run, 28.7 into the bell broke her heart and she looks better suited back to a stand, stepped like a bullet at GP on debut in the West and looks the main danger. SELLUNE (8) is not the best away from the tapes, 40m makes it more difficult but he is so consistent that with a safe start he will be a player. BEE BEE BEROC (9) can step speedily and put himself into a good spot, he has come back decent. IM GAVOCHE (3) can be included in novelties on return, his trials have been decent and he normally flies away. Tips: 6 7 8 9 Suggested Bet: SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (6) to win. Race 2 EVERYWHERE MAN (3) has been solid so far in his career, he was a beaten favourite last time out but his performance two starts ago was very good. If he runs up to that, he will be very hard to beat. PRINCE OF TRIBECA (4) did it at both ends last week and off the back of a solid trial, looks to be a reasonable type and appears the testing material. CHARLI BROWN (8) should be respected, looks like he will get an economical run and be running on. DOUGS LEGACY (2), CHEKKER (6) & BASINGHALL (7) are all novelty players on their respective form lines. Tips: 3 4 8 2 Suggested Bet: EVERYWHERE MAN (3) to win. Race 3 COUNT BOSCAR (6) has been quite unlucky as of late and looks suited here, expecting him to go close in this. SONGSTER (4) has had his fair share of opportunities; this looks no harder than what he has been racing. DELIGHTABLE (2) looks the likely leader but hasn’t been overly convincing this preparation. ROCKNROLL JEWEL (5) is well bred and can improve here and WHOOPSADAISY (7) is not the worst roughie you would see in a race with 5 winning chances. Tips: 6 4 2 5 Suggested Bet: COUNT BOSCAR (6) to win. Race 4 SHES VICTORIOUS (1) drops in grade massively in her second run here in WA, her gate speed doesn’t appear to be lightning, but it doesn’t look to be a quick front line, she is likely to be very short with the trainer/driver combination but can win. TORREVEAN PINKY (8) appears the better betting prospect, can’t see her missing a place and on her form, I think she can win. EBEE AVIATOR (9) should duck to the pegs and becomes a strong novelty chance. ALTACHAERA (7) will have to come on from the wide draw but has shown enough promise to suggest a top 4 finish. Tips: 8 1 9 7 Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN PINKY (8) each way. Race 5 RONALD SCOTT (7) has been racing in top form and he is proving to be versatile, this looks to be a drop in grade, and I thought he would charge forward and win this race, very keen. ALTA PRINCE (4) is going to be the better horse long term; he is quite green and inexperienced, and it took him a while to even qualify being able to face the gate. That is concerning where he is drawn, might lose the early battle but will run a bold race. FIVE STAR KEVIN (6) was knocked out of it last time out, his best form lines match up well as a novelty prospect. WELEASE WODDEWICK (8) has been disappointing since returning and he looks more of a place chance in this. Tips: 7 4 6 8 Suggested Bet: RONALD SCOTT (7) to win. Race 6 MIKIS BEACH (7) should dominate here, he is a margin job, looks a class above this field. SEA FURY (5) is a speedy type who has been racing well, he can use that early speed to get him into a strong position. NO NONEY (1) was solid last time out, and he can hold his form from the good draw. SPOIL THE PARTY (2) is a progressive type who looks more of a novelty player in today’s race along with HUGHEY (8) who has improved in recent efforts, he has a good trailing draw. Tips: 7 5 1 2 Suggested Bet: NO NONEY (1) to place. Race 7 VELOCIPEDE (1) has not had the best time of it since entering the new stable, he tried to lead and bumped into a 38 lead time which is undoing any horses chances in this grade. He has good natural speed and should lead here; from there he gets a great opportunity. HI SUGA RUSH (8) has the lovely draw and was solid last time out against a very talented field, he will be dangerous. TRAVELBAN (4) is coming off a Friday night victory and shouldn’t be too far away. BELLISSIMO ACQUISTO (2) moves back to a mobile and has talent. Tips: 1 8 4 2 Suggested Bet: VELOCIPEDE (1) to win. Race 8 SOHO HONEY RIDER (3) drops in grade nicely and looks the likely leader and appears very hard to beat in this field. Her stablemate LENORA JANE (1) looks the main danger, she will get the run of the race, and she likes to have the last crack at them, will be dangerous. GET THE BOOTH (11) is racing impressively, she is quite versatile and will be running on strongly. ACUSHLA MACHREE (10) looks to be a continual improver, she did the work again last run and stuck on well, looking forward to seeing her on the bigger circuit. OUR LADY JEN (5) has a bit of a tricky draw to work with but is racing consistently. Tips: 3 1 11 10 Suggested Bet: LENORA JANE (1) each way. Race 9 HOLD YOUR FIRE (2) has caught the eye on a few occasions and from a much better draw he looks to be a solid chance here, happy to play him at the value. CODENAME ELLIOT (8) has been an improver as of late, perfect draw for him and if he can capitalize on that draw he becomes a strong winning chance. DRIVE LINE (1) is fitter for the first up effort, has the lovely draw but looks to come up quite short in the market. SWITCH BLADE (11) just needs some luck but is suited and will be finishing off strongly. IDONTWANABEAPIRATE (4) can return to form looks a novelty chance with WALLEN (6) and BOUNCE BACK BUDDY (7). Tips: 2 8 1 11 Suggested Bet: HOLD YOUR FIRE (2) each way. Market Market
