Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on May 27, 2024May 27, 2024 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 LINE THE STARZZZ (6) is a horse with good ability, she is mixing her form as of late but looks well placed in this over the longer trip and also back to the mobile, give her another chance to bounce back here. SELLUNE (2) what more can we say about this bloke, he is becoming a bit of a bridesmaid but each week he performs well and has excuses, expecting him to perform well again. PEACHEE (7) now third up into her preparation should be reaching peak fitness and is capable of a forward showing here. TENNERSON (3) capable of a podium finish back to the mobile start here. Tips: 6 2 7 3 Suggested Bet: LINE THE STARZZZ (6) to win. Race 2 CHARIVARI (4) looks a developing type who showed ability along with a bit of racing immaturity last campaign. He looks to be a horse who will handle the 2185m journey with ease and I think with natural progression he is the horse to beat. DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (2) has the perfect draw and has improved in each trial, needs to improve further but has the right ingredients to do so. FORMEL (6) could improve second up, she has shown enough to be a chance at odds here. RAVENOUS ROMEO (3) and RUN BOB RUN (5) both look like needing to improve on trials and races respectively. Tips: 4 2 6 5 Suggested Bet: CHARIVARI (4) to win. Race 3 Open maiden event here. SONIC SEELSTER (4) gets another opportunity but you wouldn’t want to be taking too short a quote about him as he is finding it hard to win. SWITCH BLADE (5) has had excuses and looks hard to beat here with even luck, he is racing well. STRIKING A DEAL (6) was well beaten on WA debut but never got a crack at them, keep him safe here. MIKI SPRING STEP (8) had a torrid run last start but this week will need some luck. DEKLA DIVA (10) will be fitter and is not the worst and IDONTWANNABEAPIRATE (1) is a novelty player after showing some dash last time out. Tips: 5 4 6 8 Suggested Bet: SWITCH BLADE (5) each way. Race 4 WATCH ME WAVE (2) is lightly raced but proving to be versatile, this looks a good map either way for her and am expecting her to run a big race. HEARTOFAHLIA (1) was disappointing when a beaten favourite last time out, she has options from the draw and is a lot better than that, can bounce back. FLYING TO WIN (4) won softly at Kellerberrin in a race run with moderate times, she has ability and with further fitness can elevate to the level needed here. GET YA BETS ON (7) was disappointing last time out and does mix his form, looks to be a place chance from the awkward draw. Tips: 2 1 4 7 Suggested Bet: WATCH ME WAVE (2) to win. Race 5 INEEDA DRINK (1) has drawn perfectly and has been crying out for an opportunity again from a good draw, he should be in the money from the draw, looks the leader. WHITBYS WORLD (4) did a power of work with zero luck last time out, he is mixing his form a bit but last run suggests he is ready to win and has the strength to do the work and win. KINSAABI (10) appears better suited at Pinjarra and has good closing speed, he can mix that closing speed but looks like he can be close enough. EILEENMAY (6), SASSY DANCER (7) and ALZ SUNSHINE (9) looks place hopes from their respective draws. Tips: 10 4 1 9 Suggested Bet: KINSAABI (10) each way. Race 6 SOHO FIRESTONE (6) gets an opportunity here to be driven forward and aggressive and I am expecting him to find the top and give them something to chase, he lost no admirers after doing the work outside of Skylord last Tuesday at HQ. THE STATE OF ART (9) has come back well, should get a soft run and this is a good test for his campaign. SORRIDERE (10) was back to his best last time out and has a tremendous turn of foot. REG LAWSON (2) is fitter and looks a novelty player in this. LOMBO MITCHINSON (7) was a funny run first up and am waiting to see more before getting involved with him. Tips: 6 9 10 2 Suggested Bet: SOHO FIRESTONE (6) to win. Race 7 Open event, many chances. OUR LILILOU (2) looks the potential leader here, she should be reaching peak fitness and looks hard to run down. DISPATCHER (1) went well last start, up in grade from a good draw, place hope. THE WAND WAVER (3) has come on well through this preparation and must be put into the exotics. DREAM CONTROL (8) has good closing speed and has the good draw to run into the top 4. WORLD SECRET (9) will find this a touch easier and is fitter, should run well. EVE CROCKER (10) goes up in grade but will be running on strongly. WALL STREET GIRL (11) has the difficult task from draw and distance to overcome. Going wide in the quaddie this leg. Tips: 2 9 10 3 Suggested Bet: OUR LILILOU (2) each way. Race 8 BLAZE ON (4) has come back racing very well and has good early speed, I can see a scenario with him running to the top and he is racing at the peak of his powers, should go very close. CUT N RUN (1) holds the key to the race, he has options from the draw and is an each way chance. WHOS THE DAD (7) is first up for the preparation and now with Ryan Bell who has done an outstanding job with a former stablemate in Queeninthecorner, keep him safe on return. ADVANTAGE (8) will be running on well. VENTURA (10) fitter and has the class to overcome the draw, get a better understanding of where he is at after this race. Tips: 4 10 1 7 Suggested Bet: BLAZE ON (4) to win. Race 9 PENNY BLACK (3) didn’t set the world on first with her trial performance at Byford but debuts in the West with form around Aardiebytheseaside and Millwood Nike from NZ, she should be winning this with a leg in the air. MANGO TANGO (1) has the ace draw and shouldn’t settle too far back, he is a place chance but lacks a little bit of early speed. RESOLUTION (2) is fitter for his last run and is capable of a podium finish. ROLLYOUROWN (8) is a massive place chance if he doesn’t settle to far back, going well. JUSTMOREBLING (9) and SPIRITOFANANGEL (10) are both novelty chances as those mentioned above look to try and chase home the favourite. Tips: 3 8 1 2 Suggested Bet: ROLLYOUROWN (8) to place.
