She’s drawn towards the outside fence (huge at Pinjarra in recent months) and she’s got the speed to sit up right over the top of the tempo. Should go well at her return. TEABISCUIT looks a big raw 4 year old. The trial was slow and the winner of the trial was beaten 6L at York last week but Teabiscuit looked to move nicely. CHIPOLARTIE can hug the outside rail and has straight 1000m experience. WICKED COOL trialled well for his return. Numbers: 9 – 3 – 8 – 1 Suggested Bet – STEVIE’S MAY WIN RACE 2 SUPER ROMANI looks like the kind of horse who will keep coming at the one pace anywhere between 1400m and 2200m. He’s lightly raced, he has no convictions and he meets a field with pretty well exposed form. Went close last week behind a handy filly in I Love Your Smile and is drawn to get another ideal run over the staying trip. Picks one up soon. AFFLUENTIAL looks the testing material. The 50+ he comes through was run 10L slower than average but he’s a one paced staying type who will keep whacking away and is far better suited in a maiden. DEEP THINKER ran well last start behind Arcadia Jewel. LA CARTIER can run his race in patches but continues to hit the line. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – SUPER ROMANI WIN RACE 3 SANTA BRAE has the obvious form reference through highly impressive 3 year old First Encounter. There’s no First Encounters in this and from the draw he can slide forward into a prominent position in running. Looks like he’s found his maiden on paper and could well be another winner for the highly in form Ross Price yard. PRINCE I THINK appears to be the danger on paper. Finds another new home in Summer Dickson who has made a name for herself improving these tried types. STREET MASCHINO covered plenty of additional ground at his return. Trial was nice. SECRET ATTIRE has her first start for a new ownership group and stable. Quiet trial. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – SANTA BRAE WIN RACE 4 ALL FUN probably should have finished a length or two closer last start. Was held up into the home straight behind tiring horses and had to wait and bide her time. Once she got into the clear she worked home nicely behind First Encounter and Santa Brae. This looks a much weaker maiden than that and she’s going well. CRYSTAL ROSE was caught deep last start and was brave to keep fighting on in the finish. Could well kick through to lead this. QUILLOW has William Pike jumping aboard and went alright last start when allowed to stride. MOSHUKO trialled well again. Keep safe at odds. Numbers: 11 – 10 – 7 – 9 Suggested Bet – ALL FUN WIN RACE 5 IHTS CLOSING INN has had one run for William Pike and recorded a dominant victory. It can’t be under-estimated the difference that a senior can make to these sit and sprint types and with his booking we’ll side up with her regardless of the fact she’s up in grade and concedes a huge negative weight swing to roughie Alterno for being beaten last start. ULTIMATE STYLE is already a C5 1500m winner at Pinjarra previously and went down fighting last start at 1800. ARAGAIN isn’t historically a fresh mare, however she rates particularly well for this. DAD’S BIGHEADED is a model of consistency. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 7 – 3 Suggested Bet – IHTS CLOSING INN WIN RACE 6 MISSALFIE is really well placed back into this 54+ Handicap. She finished third behind National Guard in a 60+ Graduation two starts ago and then finished a narrow second to Bandalera Beau in a 0MWLY most recently at Ascot. She’s fit, she’s versatile and she’s drawn a gate to get a lovely run throughout. Hard to knock. LADY DUCKWORTH was enormous fresh at 2000m last start. Only improves into the preparation and looks like she’ll be winning a few races for Summer Dickson. FAT ROY SLIM really caught the eye with 61kg at York last week. RUBY NOIR is the X-Factor in the race. Numbers: 4 – 7 – 3 – 1 Suggested Bet – MISSALFIE WIN RACE 7 DJANGO DREAM looks to have found his most suitable race since winning in this exact grade five starts ago. Since a freshen he’s had three runs: sixth behind Heaps Of Moolah at a mile, fourth behind Duchees Demerit (and subsequent dual Saturday winner Fear The Wind) and then beaten a margin in a 66+ to Fear The Wind. Drops significantly in grade, retains the services of Brad Parnham and strikes a very winnable race on paper. HIS EMINENCE ran well last start at 1800m and gave every indication he’ll stay. CABLE GUY is flying and can sustain a run. Proved himself as a stayer. FRIAR THE GUN was a complete forgive last start. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – DJANGO DREAM WIN RACE 8 FALCON TRADER and AFTER PARTY both broke their maidens first-up off impressive trial wins. They both look like they’re capable of making their way through the grades and when you throw in Penny On The Queen, Under Influence, Estimator, Land Of Fire, Magnum Class and others this is a seriously good C1. FALCON TRADER has the advantage of being able to roll to the top and dictate. Love the way he fought off subsequent winner Duchess Of Gossip. AFTER PARTY let rip with a huge turn of foot to score fresh and was given a big push by Ross Price in his post race interview. UNDER INFLUENCE was backed as if unbeatable on Anzac Day. Forgive the wet track run. PENNY ON THE QUEEN has never been to a C1 in her life. Big weight but a talented filly. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 6 – 1 Suggested Bet – FALCON TRADER WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2,3,7,8 1,2,3,4,7 1,3,4 1,2,4,6,8 Market Market
