Scott Embry’s Sunday Geraldton Preview Posted on November 25, 2022November 25, 2022 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 CONSTANT DREAMING and CHICLETT both jump off the page in a Geraldton 64+ 1900. Constant Dreaming won the Ascot 1000 Guineas and Natasha Stakes last preparation. Chiclett won the Mt Barker Cup Think that at the end of 1900 that CONSTANT DREAMING might just be a little tougher than CHICLETT but doubt there’s much between them. JARMAN is better suited into a country grade of racing and is going better than it reads on paper. A STEAMY AFFAIR best of the locals. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 5 – 3 Suggested Bet – CONSTANT DREAMING WIN RACE 2 AMERICAN AGENT was backed from $26 into $4.80 last start (heartbreak for those who found her) but she was beaten by Brisance who had put the writing on the wall at her first-up run. Lots of unknowns through the debutantes so siding up with race fitness. Lisa Staples will have to navigate a tough draw but she has a level of early gate speed. MR MAGIC MAN has been sent to Geraldton after two runs in the metro area. Should be a very handy maiden acquisition for the region and PK is riding particularly well. RUN TEDDY RUN wasn’t too bad in his recent 950m trial at Lark Hill. REACTIONARY was solid fresh. Numbers: 14 – 11 – 4 – 10 Suggested Bet – AMERICAN AGENT WIN RACE 3 SANS LE SOU looked a special last start stepping to a 70+ and didn’t let punters down winning by 4L in the finish. Rises to 60kg and 1600m but the jury is out on most of these whether or not they’re either ready to win, in the form to win or run out a mile. Think she wins again. HONORFIC has a senior on and can track up along the fence. Capable on his day. MINUS LOOKS got the job done last start and while this is tougher he’s been going well for months. SCORELINE a mad improver. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 2 – 8 Suggested Bet – SANS LE SOU WIN RACE 4 ALLABOUTTHECRAIC was well fancied in betting last start at Northam when looming large on straightening but just unable to reel in Almaher Man. Considering he went through the Lex Piper, JC Roberts, Melvista 3 year old features when last in work we’ll trust it as a provincial C1 form reference. No excuses from the ideal draw and should find this to her liking. BRISANCE found the front last start and never really looked like being run down. Rises to 60kg and draws the outside. Big ask. RISKY LYRICS has been there abouts in all of these country C2 races all preparation. MR ROSSI can always give cheek. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 7 – 9 Suggested Bet – ALLABOUTTHECRAIC WIN RACE 5 DREAM TO ME won a Geraldton maiden on debut when skipping right away to win by over 4L. After that she was taken to a C1 1000 down the straight at Pinjarra when beaten an nose by Men’s Club. After that went to a C1 1200 at Belmont and struck a soft track and never travelled. First-up, no trial, back to Geraldton epect that she takes beating. MYSTERY MAN has been a hard horse to catch but has enough ability. The claim helps his cause. GLASS OFF hasn’t had much luck this preparation. CHARCOAL CHAOS is an ideal country class type. Numbers: 5 – 2 – 7 – 6 Suggested Bet – DREAM TO ME WIN RACE 6 GALAXY AFFAIR is well placed by Team Pearce into this 58+ at Geraldton. Finished fourth in a 60+ Graduation only three starts ago behind Bustler (winner of the Fairetha and second to Amelia’s Jewel in the WA Guineas) and then has finished second in back to back C1s. Last start couldn’t reel in Vitalize but with that mare winning a 60+ 0MWLY on Wednesday at Belmont the form stands out. Gets every chance from the ideal draw. DARK PEAK looms as the danger. Finished third and fourth in 70+ company her last two. DELAGO DEHERO is better suited in this grade and is some chance of working to the top. UNI QUEEN returned to her best last start with a dominant win. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – GALAXY AFFAIR WIN RACE 7 EDMOND has been caught between grades ever since he arrived in WA. Lumped massive weights in Class races and now has to either carry 60kg in a 58+ or 54kg in a 70+. Not much in between for him but from the inside gate he’ll get his chance to win another one. Think this is a fairly thin 58+ and Troy Turner can have him poised and ready to strike. Gordon Spowart’s yard flying. ARABIAN RICHES has been popular with punters all season. BILLY JACK comes back to the grass and could surprise a few. DJANGO DREAM almost ready. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – EDMOND WIN RACE 8 KENYLUCK was uncharacteristically slow last start when going round in a 78+ at Ascot. After the start he tried to squeeze up inside the horse drawn barrier 1 but in the end, he was shuffled back to a chasing position and actually ran out of his skin to finish as close to them as he did. Shows he has again returned in excellent form and back to his home ground he should go close to making it back to back Batavia Sprints. CORN COB has been the best local in his absence and gets his chance to affirm his tag. Gets some well deserved weight relief. JERICHO MISSILE drops back into a winnable assignment. JUPITER RISING is flying this campaign. Not suited in the weights scale but hard to ignore his current form. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 2 – 10 Suggested Bet – KENYLUCK WIN RACE 9 SUN POWER finished third in a 70+ behind Corn Cob and then was somehow grabbed on the line by The Singing Tiger last start in a 58+. He can carry the weight, he can kick through to lead this and he’ll be in front for a long way. If it’s suiting on pace he’ll be hard to gun down. SURE NO SOMETHING is two from two this preparation and showing a big turn of acceleration. See no reason why he won’t measure up in this grade. CHIX CHATTER won the Ladies Day Sprint last start. Hasn’t been seen since early October which is the unknown. ORISTANO should be a handy country type in time. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – SUN POWER WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 1,2,3,7 1,3 1,2,4 1,2,4 Market Market
