Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on September 6, 2022 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 Fine weather leading into the meeting should see the track in the soft/good range. ARTZINO was confidently supported on debut and ran well despite not winning. He should appreciate the rise in trip as will BERARDINO, who also ran well on debut after being well supported. SPACE JOURNEY has been right on speed in a couple of encouraging jumpouts. THISISMYTURF has shown talent in all his runs to date. FERRARI MAN backs up and will rise the speed. INNERBLOOM should appreciate the rise in trip and gets blinkers. Selections: 2,3,8,9 Suggested Bet: Working around 2,3,8 & 9 in multiples Race 2 Can mount a case for every runner. WICKLOW LASS has jumped out well to resume after contesting stakes grade last start. Her form ties in with LA DANSEUSE ROUGE, who has also jumped out well. BOLDINHO was strong winning first up and the form through his previous prep is solid. LITTLE MISS KUBI pulled up with a degree od lameness last start after an impressive debut. PRAIRIE FLOWER will strip fitter for her last start win. TIME RULER has jumped out ok for the new stable and showed good speed in NZ. Selections: 5,2,4,6 Suggested Bet: Box Qu/Ex 2,4,5 Race 3 ASFOORA came a long was in her first prep and has jumped out nicely to resume. MISS BALVENIE has been kept up to the mark with a jumpout between runs and is open to improvement following her first up win. FINE DANE has been trialling well and should give a good sight on speed. GALENUS boasts an impressive first up record and has been jumping out quite well for the new stable. If they overdo it up front BEEHUNTER will be strong late and is a blowout chance. NASRAAWY has been freshened for an in form stable and comes through a strong form race last start. Selections: 8,11,3,7 Suggested Bet: Asfoora to win Race 4 LUCKY DECISION looks well paced out to 1800m and the form through his last start looks strong. CRACKERJACK PRINCE keeps finding a way to win and can measure up to this grade. MILLIONDOLLARBILL meets Crackerjack Prince better at the weights for a brave effort last time. CARBONETTI also has a wight advantage over Crackerjack Prince for their last meeting. SIGN OF USSURI should appreciate getting back up in trip. AESOP has jumped out nicely to resume and is a previous first up winner. Selections: 2,6,11,13 Suggested Bet: Lucky Decision to win Race 5 THE FORTUNE TELLER ran quick time for the day and looked open to improvement winning impressively on debut. WALTZ ON BY had been trialling well leading into a luckless first up run in group company. STREET DELIGHT was given a solid hit out winning a recent jumpout and looks suited at 1300m first up. TAPEESA and HELL HATH NO FURY are both last start winners that have jumped out quite nicely to resume. Selections: 3,7,12,4 Suggested Bet: Quinella/Exacta 3 & 7 Race 6 Even race with plenty of chances. TOBAYSURE has been jumping out well to resume and was scratched from a heavy track last week. DANAUSTAR has been kept fresh and the form around him is strong. He can make his own luck on speed. NIGHTFIRE gets down in the weights and is likely to appreciate firmer ground than last start. SANDY PRINCE will strip fitter third up and should appreciate 1300m. BOTANY and SAINT BATHANS have claims. FULLER looks promising and is in the mix should he gain a start. Selections: 9,6,13,7 Suggested Bet: Working around 6,7,9,13 & 2 in multiples Race 7 DO IT LA worked home ok over 1200m at Moonee valley first up on a day it was difficult to make ground out wide. She will appreciate 1400m and may settle closer from a favourable draw. MRS SIPPY seems better suited around this trip now, she’s had a tick over jumpout between runs and will appreciate the likely firming track. CULILY ACE is fit and racing well. NIJIKO can get keen but was much better last start and can measure up to stronger company. POYSED TO REIGN had no luck in an easier race last start, she is up to this class but may need some luck from the inside draw. Selections: 14,4,11,12 Suggested Bet: Do It La each way Market Market
