Chris Nelson’s Saturday Doomben Preview Posted on April 21, 2022April 21, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.6 Sayl Absolutely busting to win another race and tomorrow should be the day. Just hit the front a little too early two back when nailed right on the post at Eagle Farm before being snookered away on the fence here last start. He did manage to get to the outside late however it was far too late running home hard into 5th place. Additional 200m and no weight both big positives. RACE 3 No.1 Yiska Straight to the front at his only two starts and he’s yet to be headed winning both comfortably by almost the same margins of around 2.5 lengths. Pressured in front from a quality filly at his latest win he quickly shook her off early into the straight coasting to the line clocking good sectionals along the way. Expecting him to cross, lead and win again! RACE 7 No.3 Alpine Edge Absolute gun first up being unbeaten at both of his fresh attempts to date. He meets a hot field here with a couple of southern raiders plus a terrific bunch of locals including Group 1 runner up Startantes who is also resuming. Liked this one’s trial win recently at the Gold Coast when coasting home in slick time. Maps to park nice and handy in the run. Quaddie 20% 7, 8, 2 3, 1, 2, 4 4, 6, 11, 2, 1 8, 12, 6, 1 Market Market
