Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on September 10, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 UNDERCOVER MAC (6) won two on end before starting from a wide draw when 2nd to Howard Hughes in 1.53.0 here last week. He meets a weaker field tonight and looks the one to beat. STARLIGHT DESTINY (1) is racing well and can lead or sit and be right in the finish. RAKASINC (2) has led throughout to win his last three starts and will give them something o catch if he finds the top. BLISSFULLABBEY (4) looked home here last week but was mowed down late and will be thereabouts with the right run. Tips: 6 1 2 4 Suggested Bet: UNDERCOVER MAC (6) to win. Race 2 JACK WILLIAM (1) had been racing consistently before settling at the rear in a sprint home here last week. He is much better drawn tonight and will give a great sight if he can hold up at the start. ELOQUENT MACH (11) disappointed at his two starts last time in and was sent for a spell. He resumes here without a trial so must be taken on trust but he is the best horse in this field. MARAS ACE MAN (2) led throughout here at his last start and should make his presence felt from this draw. SPACE JUNK (3) is always a chance with the right run. Tips: 1 11 2 3 Suggested Bet: JACK WILLIAM (1) to win. Race 3 SIR GALAHAD (2) has won eight of his 15 career starts and looks the testing material tonight. He resumes here without a trial but looks likely to find the front and should prove hard to catch. ROCK ME OVER (3) is racing extremely consistently in stronger fields and should be right in the finish from this draw. JIMMY MACK (4) was a solid 3rd at his last start and shouldn’t be far away again. SERGEANT OATS (1) will be fitter for having three runs back from a spell and looks a big improver from the pole. Tips: 2 3 4 1 Suggested Bet: SIR GALAHAD (2) to win. Race 4 MY CARBON COPY (2) has produced nice efforts in stronger fields this campaign and looks set to break through tonight. He has a huge barrier advantage over his main rival and can press for an all-the-way victory. PATRICKTHEPIRANHA (9) will be fitter for his first-up run and is the other class runner of the field but has a horror draw to overcome. GEE JAY KAY (5) has battled away well in his races of late and looks a good place chance. ALWAYS ARJAY (1) is drawn to get the run of the race and should be a big improver. Tips: 2 9 5 1 Suggested Bet: MY CARBON COPY (2) to win. Race 5 CHICAGO BULL (7) has returned to his best, winning his last six on end. He has had a freshen up and is drawn outside his main rival but still appeals as the one to beat. SHOCKWAVE (6) won four of his last five starts before a spell and has trialled nicely for his return. He has the barrier advantage over CHICAGO BULL (7) and is the obvious danger. GALACTIC STAR (8) has impressed in winning his last two starts but will need some luck from out here. AS HAPPY AS LARRY (1) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be placed. Tips: 7 6 8 1 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (7) to win. Race 6 THE BUCKEYE BULLET (6) has won 11 of his 20 career starts and resumed with an impressive Pinjarra win from the stand. He is drawn a bit awkwardly but knows how to find the line and appeals as the one to beat. BETTORSTARTDREAMING (5) disappointed last start but looks better suited when able to lead and looks a good chance to take up that position tonight. QUICK STRIDE (7) has charged home at his two starts for a new stable and has the turn of foot to overcome the wide draw. IM JOHNNY JET (1) can be placed from the pole. Tips: 6 5 7 1 Suggested Bet: THE BUCKEYE BULLET (6) to win. Race 7 BRAEVIEW BONDI (4) was a solid 3rd in a stronger field at his last start and should be ready to show his best at his third run back from a spell. PIERRE WHITBY (3) ran on well to win here on Tuesday and will be dangerous again with the right trip. EUPHORIC MOMENT (11) has been unplaced at his past five starts but will appreciate the drop in class and can play a part. OHOKA TITAN (1) led when 3rd here on Tuesday and should be prominent throughout from his pole draw. Tips: 4 3 11 1 Suggested Bet: EUPHORIC MOMENT (11) each way. Race 8 WILDWEST (12) impressed in winning a similar event from the same handicap first-up before not having much luck when 2nd to Galactic Star in a mobile event. He is the class runner of the field and will prove hard to beat. KIWI BLOKE (1) led and has had every chance when 2nd at his last two starts and should lead and give a sight again. FORGOTTEN HIGHWAY (11) and REBEL WITH A GRIN (10) fought out the finish of the Marathon a few weeks ago and both like the standing start format. Tips: 12 1 11 10 Suggested Bet: WILDWEST (12) to win. Race 9 OUR ALFIE ROMEO (5) deserved to break through when a dominant winner here last week. She is drawn outside her main rival but still appeals as the one to be beat. TYPHOON TIFF (4) was an impressive winner here last week and has the gate speed to hold out the favourite if desired. DONEGAL ART CHOKIN (1) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be placed. MILLWOOD MOLLY (6) won two of her last three starts before a break but will find it harder from this draw first-up. Tips: 5 4 1 6 Suggested Bet: OUR ALFIE ROMEO (5) to win. Race 10 INTHESKYROCKET (1) recorded consecutive victories before starting from a wide draw when a solid 2nd here on Tuesday. She looks the leader here and will be very hard to catch. MISS MERIT (3) has been racing consistently in stronger events and looks the main danger. MISS EERIE (6) has been placed in four of her past five starts and must be considered in this field. SHES ALL STAR (2) doesn’t have the class of her main rivals but can be placed from this draw. Tips: 1 3 6 2 Suggested Bet: INTHESKYROCKET (1) to win. Market Market
