The Scout: NBA Best Bets Posted on September 8, 2020September 8, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks (Game 5) Giannis played just 11 minutes of Game 4, with a Khris Middleton 36 point explosion ensuring a sweep is off the table. Milwaukee’s other role players stood up when their leader went down, with five players (outside of Giannis who had 19!) scoring double figure points. The Bucks have listed Giannis as questionable for Game 5. If he misses, the rest of this roster has shown it is ready to step up, and at a minimum, compete with Miami. They have nothing to lose which makes them incredibly dangerous. Closing out a series can be a tricky task and there were signs in Game 4 that the Heat had lost the focus that got them the 3-0 lead. Suggested Bet: Milwaukee (Head to Head) @ $2.30* LA Lakers vs Houston Rockets (Game 3) PJ Tucker got into early foul trouble in Game 2 which contributed to a dominant Anthony Davis performance. Against the small-ball Rockets this should be the blueprint for LA. The Lakers have decided to leave Westbrook wide open on offense, tempting him to shoot the long ball. The tactic worked wonders in Game 2 as Russ went 4 out of 15 from the field and 1 of 7 from deep. The Lakers made adjustments leading into Game 2, and it reaped instant rewards. If they can continue to shut down the driving lanes for Westbrook, and force him into becoming a jump shooter, this series could be over quickly. Suggested Bet: Los Angeles 11+ (Margin) @ $2.95* *Odds correct as at 2pm, 8th September 2020. Market Market
