The Scout: EPL Matchday 21 Posted on December 31, 2019December 31, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Burnley vs Aston Villa Burnley appeared to be headed in the right direction with two straight wins mid-December, but enter this match having lost their last two, sitting 13th on the table. Aston Villa (18th) have won just two of their last 10 Premier League matches and now have a serious fight on their hands to avoid relegation. Villa were particularly disappointing in their last fixture, losing 3-0 against a Watford side that had just 10 men for most of the second half. Consistency has plagued Burnley all season, but they have been decent at home, with five of their seven wins coming at Turf Moor. Suggested Bet: Match Result Burnley @ $1.86* Watford vs Wolverhampton New boss Nigel Pearson has brought on a mini resurgence at Watford (19th) who have won two of their last three, but still find themselves three points shy of relegation safety. In Wolverhampton’s last two games they’ve beaten Manchester City and lost 1-0 to Liverpool. They’re 7th on the table having lost just four times in 20 games and should be (rightfully) full of confidence. Although Watford have found form (and are finally scoring goals) they are coming up against one of the hardest sides to play in the Premier League. Wolverhampton should be too strong, with the the return of Raul Jimenez (8 goals, 6 assists), Adama Traore (4 goals, 4 assists) and Matt Doherty (3 goals) the potential difference maker(s) in this match. Suggested Bet: Match Result Wolverhampton @ $2.25* Arsenal vs Manchester United Newly appointed Arsenal manager, Mike Arteta, is still hunting his first Premier League win. Their loss to Chelsea has the Gunners down in 12th spot on the table after what has been a disastrous 2019. Manchester United have been far from dominant this season, but there has been steady improvement, and their win over Burnley has them 5th, just four points shy of the top four. The Gunners haven’t won at home in six straight attempts now, conceding 12 goals in the process. They have the 6th worst home record in the League, securing just 13 points from 10 home fixtures. United have lost just once in their last nine Premier League matches, thanks largely to Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial who have combined for 19 goals and seven assists this season. Suggested Bet: Match Result Manchester United @ $2.40* *Odds correct as at 10am, 31st December 2019. Market Market
