The Scout: EPL Matchday 14 Posted on November 29, 2019November 29, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Burnley vs Crystal Palace 30th November, 11pm WST Burnley enter this clash in search of their third straight win. They are sitting nicely in 7th, ahead of Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal. 13th placed Crystal Palace have lost four of their last five Premier League games, playing dour football with just 11 goals for the season (equal second lowest). Only the Premier League’s top four and Tottenham have scored more goals than Burnley this season. Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes have six goals each, the same as number Mo Salah has scored for Liverpool. Chris Wood comes into this fixture having scored back to back goals against Watford and West Ham. Burnley have been scoring goals for fun (six goals in two games) and I expect Wood to be in the thick of a similar display here. Suggested Bet: Anytime Goalscorer Chris Wood @ $2.70* Southampton vs Watford 30th November, 11pm WST 19th plays host to 20th in the EPL’s game of the week weak. Southampton’s last win in the Premier League came on the 14th of September, and they are yet to win at home all season. Watford have recorded one win for the season, a far cry from their 11th placed finish last season. Leaking goals is what both these teams have been good at. Southampton have conceded 31 for the season (15 in their last four matches), while Watford have conceded 26, including three last weekend against Burnley. Both of these team will be desperate for a win. I expect the shackles to come off in what’s shaping as a bottom of the table slugfest. Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 (Total Goals) @ $3.30* Tottenham vs Bournemouth 30th November, 11pm WST It’s early days, but signs look good for the Spurs with Jose Mourinho bringing a newfound confidence to this squad. In his first two games at the helm, the attacking prowess of Tottenham has been on full display with seven goals scored and a range of players getting involved up front. Bournemouth (11th) have lost two Premier League games in a row and sit just one point below Tottenham. The Cherries managed just three goals from their last six, which is a major concern for a team not known for their defensive prowess. Tottenham are amazingly just three points away from outright 5th spot on the table. They still have plenty to play for and with the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura in good form, I think they will put on a show for in front of their home fans (and new manager). Suggested Bet: Tottenham -1.5 (Handicap) $2.02* *Odds correct as at 10.30am, 29th November 2019. Market Market
