Scott Embry’s Thursday Bunbury Preview Posted on October 27, 2019November 28, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 TOLLMAN has been consistent since his debut and should give this a good shake. Three starts over 1400 and now extends to a mile. Sits off them and comes with a sustained run. Did a bit wrong last start and raced without luck. ROMAN FLIRT looks the one to beat on paper. Improving with each outing and was brave in defeat last start. ADMIRED sat on top of a strong tempo and found on well last time out. DAWN ENIGMA is on debut at a mile but looked good at Lark Hill. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – TOLLMAN WIN Race 2 IGARASHI battled on well last start on top of a strong tempo on a day when those coming 3 and 4 deep were the best suited. Should be able to get to the breeze from the draw and can give a sight at an eachway quote. TRADENSIA was big on debut and battled on well down the length of the straight. Senior rider on, gear changes, big winning hope. INSTANT HIT was fairly luckless last start when unable to get clear. SATURDAY SUN improves out in trip. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 4 – 2 Suggested Bet – IGARASHI EACHWAY Race 3 PAMBELLA was big last start sitting deep the trip and kept coming. Draws to sit in the box seat here and should enjoy the run of the race. This is not a deep field and she looks the logical winner on paper. CENSURE only got gobbled up in the shadows of the post at Albany. Reproduces that effort and she’s in the mix. FROSTY BELLE should find the top and lead for a long way. NEW MYSTIQUE went well on debut and looks like getting out over further. Numbers: 9 – 10 – 2 – 11 Suggested Bet – PAMBELLA WIN Race 4 GOODBYFEDS did a lot wrong in the home straight and was a nightmare ride for Jason Whiting. If he can race any more tractably he’ll take beating here. Was coming off a 400m jump out and went well in a good quality 1000m maiden. WAR IN PARARDISE trialed well but didn’t really fire fresh. McNaught sticks and shades go on. ALLEZ ALLEZ wasn’t asked for much at trials and could get under the radar. KITGUM draws poorly but is racing well. Numbers: 6 – 7 – 11 – 1 Suggested Bet – GOODBYFEDS WIN Race 5 MONTAGNA can do a lot wrong and is his own worst enemy but his two runs in this campaign have both been excellent. Was winding up late fresh and then in Saturday grade was blocked for a run at crucial stages. Sits three back the fence or midfield and always needs luck but is knocking on the door. ARNIE’S BOY back in trip and should come across to sit outside Vision and Prayer. BURNING PRIDE was fair first-up and wins a C3 very soon. KIA ORA STAR is finding trouble everywhere he looks. The day he gets any luck he’ll bolt in. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 6 – 1 Suggested Bet – MONTAGNA WIN Race 6 HE’S A GUNSLINGER was the target of good backing last start and was completely blocked almost the entire length of the home straight. Probably only 50m where Pateman had anywhere to go and he went through the line untested. He can bounce back here. MEGADON is racing as well as anything in C1 company at the minute. He’ll win one soon because he is flying. ALTANI is the most interesting runner on the entire card. Went round under $5 in a Raconteur Stakes and now changes stable. OVERTHRONE was stiff to run into Devoted Star in a C1 last time out. Numbers: 4 – 5 – 8 – 6 Suggested Bet – HE’S A GUNSLINGER WIN Race 7 PLAYS THE GAME is getting very close to returning to the winner’s circle. Won a Pinjarra Cup and got 19 points penalty. Has since dropped 14 points in 10 runs and now finds himself in his most suitable assignment in 12 months. TWENTYTHREE RED will soon find a race where he can lead and control the tempo. Getting close to another victory. BON SIGNORE is in form and once he gets there he normally holds it. NOT AGAIN KEN is a mystery and on his day can win. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 5 – 3 Suggested Bet – PLAYS THE GAME EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,6,7,11 1,2,3,4,6 4,5,6,8 1,2,3,4,5,6,9 Market Market
