The Scout: EPL Matchday 24 Posted on January 29, 2019January 30, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Fulham vs Brighton 30th January, 3.45am WST Fulham (19th) remain in the relegation zone (where they’ve been for most of the season) and enter this match on the back of three straight losses in the Premier League. The only positive you could takeaway is that they’ve managed to score in each of these games. 14th placed Brighton have been a tough opponent for most of the season, but they continue to rely heavily on home ground advantage, picking up only 30% of their points when on the road. Fulham are similarly placed with 12 of their 14 points coming from home fixtures. Away from home, Brighton have conceded at least one goal in their last eight fixtures, while Fulham have scored at least one goal in their last 5 Premier League games. Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score @ $1.95 Manchester United vs Burnley 30th January, 4am WST Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the reins, Manchester United are undefeated in the Premier League and enter this match on a six game winning streak. Sitting 6th on the table (equal points with Arsenal), United are only three points behind 4th placed Chelsea. Burnley head to Manchester unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches, and in season best form. The Red Devils have fantastic form at home, unbeaten in nine matches and scoring at will over that time. Their last four home games alone have seen them score an impressive 13 goals. While Burnley have been solid to start the year, it’s hard to see how they combat the firepower that Manchester United possess. World Cup hero Paul Pogba in particular has flourished under new management, with five goals and five assists in his last six matches. Manchester United are playing scintillating football, and at home they would be a handful for any team in world football right now. Burnley may struggle to maintain possession in this one, and I think they will struggle to score. Suggested Bet: Manchester United -1.5 @ $1.80 Huddersfield vs Everton 30th January, 3.45am WST Sitting dead last on the League table, Huddersfield will be looking to turn their season around under the guidance of new manager Jan Siewert. This match will be his first as manager of Huddersfield, and naturally, he’d love nothing more than a win on debut. Everton have been disappointing of late, dropping to 11th on the table with manager Marco Silva coming under increasing pressure to perform. An incredibly disappointing 3-2 FA Cup loss to Milwall could prove to be catastrophic for the confidence of this side. Huddersfield have won just two games all season, and remarkably have taken just one point from their last ten Premier League matches. However sometimes a new manager can rejuvenate a struggling side, bringing with them a new atmosphere and a rejuvenated playing style. Take Manchester United as a prime example. This fixture is must-win for Everton, but can they handle the growing pressure on both manager and playing group? I have my doubts. I expect Huddersfield to come out full of energy, and to take the game to Everton. Both teams should have their chances, with Everton prone to conceding goals away from home, having done so in their last five Premier League matches away from home. Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score @ $2.00
