Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on April 5, 2018April 5, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: SKY RACING REPLAYS MARES MS PACE KHUN LEK (9) was impressive in consecutive victories before tackling stronger company at her last two starts. She is drawn poorly tonight but has the turn of foot to be right in the finish. SHEEZ EDGY (1) has finished just behind the placegetters at her last two starts and gets her chance from the pole. SOHO CHANGELING (6) was fancied last week but couldn’t get into the race won by Im Zulieka but can be driven more aggressively here. SEA ME SMILE (8) ran on to finish 2nd in that event and will be running home strongly again. Tips: 9 1 6 8 Suggested Bet: KHUN LEK (9) to win. Race 2: IN THE GIG ON SKY RACING MS PACE OUR ZAK WHITBY (2) sprinted well to beat a strong field at Pinjarra. He looks the winner if he can find the front but can still win with the right run in transit. HOT FRATERNITY (1) ran on to defeat Rockin The Boys then led when a solid 3rd to Zennart in good time last week and looks a great each way chance from the pole. SHEER ROCKNROLL (9) has been racing in considerably stronger company and must be considered despite the draw. BETTOR BOA (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 2 1 9 10 Suggested Bet: OUR ZAK WHITBY (2) to win. Race 3: FOLLOW @SKYRACINGAU ON TWITTER WA OAKS PRELUDE MS PACE OUR ANGEL OF HARLEM (7) looked a bit underdone when 3rd at her WA debut and then choked down in the no-race. She has since trialled when 2nd to King Of Swing and gets her chance to show her best tonight. LIBERTY ROSE (10) was a strong first up winner before looking hard to beat in the run in the no-race and should enjoy a lovely run here. MISS SANGRIAL (1) has been beaten as a short priced favourite at her last two starts but should be thereabouts from the pole. AMELIAS COURAGE (2) must be considered on her impressive win on Tuesday. Tips: 7 10 1 2 Suggested Bet: OUR ANGEL OF HARLEM (7) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 No.7 OUR ANGEL OF HARLEM - Money Back Race 4: #SKYHARNESS MS PACE MILITARY MASTER (7) has resumed from a spell with a win and two placings in stronger company and appeals as the one to beat tonight. OHOKA DARCY (3) has finished just behind the placings at his last six starts but can improve from this draw. MIGHTY FLYING THOMAS (9) loves this distance and should be finishing strongly. MISTER ARDEE (6) is racing consistently but goes up in class on his two last start placings. Tips: 7 3 9 6 Suggested Bet: MILITARY MASTER (7) to win. Race 5: SKY RACING WA DERBY MS PACE ACE KING OF SWING (3) had had problems since arriving in WA but ran a great race when 2nd in 1.55.3 at his first run here. He will be fitter for that outing and is the one to beat from this draw. OCEAN RIDGE (10) appreciated the fast speed when finishing too strongly for KING OF SWING (3) last start and is drawn to get a lovely run. BRIGHT DIAMOND (1) has started at big odds at his last two starts and performed well from bad draws so must be respected from the pole. SPEED MAN (2) has battled bad barriers recently but will be competitive now. Tips: 3 10 1 2 Suggested Bet: KING OF SWING (3) to win. Race 6: SKYRACING.COM.AU MS PACE MS PACE MY HARD COPY (9) beat Lazarus, Chicago Bull and Soho Tribeca in the Fremantle Cup four starts back and was well driven when defeating Chicago Bull in the Pinjarra Cup last start. He is drawn poorly here but has the turn of foot to make him the one to beat. BETTORS FIRE (6) was a great 2nd in the Easter Cup off a 50m handicap and will give a great sight if he finds the top. VULTAN TIN (3) seemed to train off after his 4th in the Inters but his last start win was full of merit. ZENNART (7) rises significantly in class but has untapped potential. Tips: 9 6 3 7 Suggested Bet: BETTORS FIRE (6) each way. Race 7: GARRARDS JUNIOR DRIVER CHALLENGE SERIES HEAT 1 MS PACE CARTER MICHEAL (5) won four on end before disappointing at Bridgetown. He was scratched at the barrier at his next assignment due to soreness but will be hard to beat if he has overcome that problem. HEEZ MANLY (7) ran a nice 3rd to Red October before turning the tables from a better barrier and looks the main danger. ATHABASCAN (3) had good Albany form but has been hampered by barrier nine at his three GP runs and looks a big improver here. TUAS DELIGHT (9) has disappointed at his two runs back from a spell but can be in the money. Tips: 5 7 3 9 Suggested Bet: CARTER MICHEAL (5) to win. Race 8: #INTHEGIG CONDITIONED HANDICAP SS PACE RISK (7) has finished out of the money at his three starts this campaign but has shown improvement in each and is getting back to his best. He is a classy conveyance when at his top and he gets his chance tonight. ROCK DIAMONDS (8) is first up from a spell and is normally a mobile horse but has the class to be right in this. THE BUCKET LIST (11) was placed in the WA Cup three starts back and can overcome his handicap. TACTILE SENSATION (2) doesn’t have the ability of his rivals but would give cheek if he found the top. Tips: 7 8 11 2 Suggested Bet: RISK (7) to win. Race 9: SKY RACING MS PACE ART KEEPER (1) impressed at his WA debut when he worked to the front and went on to record a comfortable victory. He is drawn perfectly and will be hard to catch. RED OCTOBER (12) won five on end before facing the breeze and finishing a close up 4th in a stronger field last week. He has to overcome the back line draw but looks the main danger. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (5) bolted in at his first run back from a break but goes up in class here. ARTHUR LOWE (6) was an impressive winner midweek and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 1 12 5 6 Suggested Bet: ART KEEPER (1) to win. Race 10: SKY SPORTS RADIO THE CLARKE QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MS PACE EL JACKO (7) has a heap of ability but was up to his old tricks when racing roughly at a crucial stage at his first run back from a break. He is suited by the small field and will be hard to hold out if he does everything right. LORD WILLOUGHBY (1) has won three of his last four and hasn’t finished further back than 2nd in his last 11 starts and should keep that record intact. THE ACCUMULATOR (2) is racing well on the country circuit and shouldn’t be far away. HOIHO (3) is the best of the rest. Tips: 7 1 2 3 Suggested Bet: EL JACKO (7) to win. Bet Now
