Race 1

FINE SCENT looks like another Simon Miller first-up winner. His stable is flying and this filly should be winning. SUMMER’S DREAM did well down the wrong part of the Pinjarra straight. CALBANESCO belted moderate opposition in the Great Southern. COOL SERENITY next.

Race 2

YINDI has shown ability at all his runs and this is winnable. PYM’S ROYALE looked all at sea down the straight. THE BIG SHOW is probably suited over further but was a super impressive trial. GOOD FORTUNE hits the line.

Race 3

SUGAR CAIN is bred for this sort of trip and was caught in an awkward position last start. Should get every chance from the gun draw. IMORTALITE looks a grinding, one paced type suited to this distance range. DIAMONDANNIVERSARY box seats and sticks on. THREADS OF IVEY comes from a strong race.

Race 4

BLACK ATTACK comes from an open class 3 year old race. Looked to peak on the run but with blinkers on gets her chance. BROTHER PADDY was completely luckless first-up and made amends second-up. COULD BE QUEEN rolls forward on the short back-up. COOL WITNESS you must forgive.

Race 5

SMALLAMOUNTOFMERIT was eye catching fresh and can give this a big shake at odds. MY NAUGHTY BLONDE was hitting the line hard in a tougher assignment last start. MOTORVATOR freshened up can improve. VIGNETO should roll forwards and sit outside the lead.

Race 6

JUST A FLUKE has run some very strong on-speed races in his short career. He has the natural toe to carve across the face of the field and get towards the outside fence. STIRLING ESTATE bounced back to form last start and goes well at Pinjarra. ON THE TURPS is drawn perfectly to figure late. TRANSGRESSOR faces a task from the flat side.

Race 7

BUSHFIRE BLONDE should be peaking third up from a spell and from the gun draw gets every chance. ROUGHEAD was hitting the line well fresh and should be able to box seat. STOCKYARD GOSSIP took up the running last start after being caught in traffic her previous four. KEEPER’S SON next.

GREAT AGAIN freshened up, back in trip and drawn the inside gate looks the perfect placement for Paul Harvey to return to the winners’ list. Pontiff to guide us home. COUGAR NIGHTS trialed up really well for his return but it has been a long time since he tasted victory. FOUR LETTER WERD is consistent in this grade. SILVER PLATED generally runs well fresh.
