Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on November 24, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 24th November 2017 Race 4 – No. 3 Rated In search of a hat trick after slick all the way wins over the 490m then 405m from awkward draws. Up a grade and a half but she has a top record over the journey and does draw to give this a real shake. Race 7 – No. 3 Starlight Asha SuperPick (Win Boost) Classy chaser who has been mixing form over a variety of distances at headquarters recently. She has led all the way over this trip in the past in 27.58 and will take plenty of catching if leading again. Race 12 – No. 1 What A Hoot Has been consistent without winning for a long while, placing in all of her last 8 starts now. She will be fitter for two runs back from a spell and gets her chance to break the drought from the ideal draw. He was only beaten less than a length in the Young Stars Final last week and probably would’ve won in another couple of strides. Will find this much easier and looks too good this time. Race 4 – No. 1 Equanimity Star WA chaser who returns to the west after testing himself in a heat of the world’s Richest Greyhound race, the Melbourne Cup where he wasn’t disgraced in finishing 4th. Won the Perth Cup from this draw and looks set to bounce back to his best. Race 5 – No. 2 Trouper Monelli Showed plenty of early toe last week when prominent throughout for 2nd in a near PB of 29.86. He has a brilliant record at the track and should prove hard to run down if replicating that run. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 2 / 3, 4, 7, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 / 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. $50 for 50% TRIFECTA – Race 4 1, 2 / 1, 2 / 3, 4, 7, 8. $30 for 375% FIRST FOUR – Race 5 2 / 1, 5, 7, 8 / 1, 5, 7, 8 / 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. $50 for 104.16% [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now!” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2017-11-25/pd” linkrel=””]
