Greg’s Pinjarra Park Picks Posted on July 7, 2016July 8, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 1 Very tricky race to start the program. ANOTHER STORY has shown enough in her trials to suggest she can run a race on debut. NIGHTWATCHMAN has trialled well and hails from the strong Morton yard with Pike on. BELLA’S IDOL has race experience on his side. MAGNASCOPE was solid first-up and Harvey takes the ride. Numbers – 13 – 6 – 2 – 4 Suggested Bet – Another Story and Nightwatchman RACE 2 Very little form to work with in this maiden. CHEAP EXPRESS showed ability last campaign and has trialled well to suggest she can run a race fresh. TRUE DRAGON spaced them in his last trial. He should measure up on debut. HE’S OUR FREDDY has claims if he can reproduce what he showed on debut. I DON’T LIKE IT next best with the blinkers going on. Numbers – 12 – 11 – 3 – 1 Suggested Bet – Cheap Express and True Dragin RACE 3 KOSTAZILCH was perfectly placed to shake his maiden tag. He has been good in all three runs this campaign and this race looks very soft. SPECIAL JEWEL has been a costly horse for the punters but she beats most of these on ability alone. WIDUKIND improves back to maiden grade. DON’TBEADIL has claims. Numbers – 1 – 10 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – Kostazilch win RACE 4 BERGIO was an eye-catcher first-up when making very good late ground over 1200m. The rise in distance is ideal and he is drawn to settle much closer to the speed. DEMERIT POINT looks the danger. He’ll get back and be finding the line strongly. KINJARRA made ground first-up over 1000m so the step up in trip should suit. STAR MOVER has claims. Numbers – 4 – 3 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – Bergio win RACE 5 SNITZBLITZ can run a race at odds in this 1000m sprint. She’ll tuck in behind the speed and be strong late. YOU NO WHAT I MEAN trialled well and is expected to measure up on debut. GLEN ALBYN and PUYSIEUX are speedy and give a sight on the speed. Numbers – 6 – 5 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – Snitzblitz and You No What I Mean RACE 6 WAR IN PARIS is the class runner of this race and should take plenty of beating. Harvey rides and she has drawn the right side. AUDIENCE broke her maiden first-up for her new trainer Justin Warwick. She looks the danger. TENTERDEN is a capable straight horse. SUBI CENTRAL has claims. Numbers – 6 – 7 – 4 – 1 Suggested Bet – War In Paris win RACE 7 Really tricky race. AIN’T BAD is always a chance at this level and at each-way prices will give a big sight. SONNEN races well at this circuit and can improve sharply. RARE SELECTION is up in trip but the stable is flying. ACHMED some claims. Numbers – 5 – 7 – 3 -1 Suggested Bet – Ain’t Bad each-way RACE 8 ALMALEO should improve sharply on her last start when she didn’t get the 2000m. Back to 1500m is ideal and she has drawn to get a very soft run. BIG CABBAGE is another who has drawn to get a lovely run on the speed. VIGHORESTA can lead and roll and give a sight. THE KARNUP KID is in form and has claims. Numbers – 12 – 2 – 11 – 15 Suggested Bet – Almaleo and Big Cabbage QUADDIE RACE 5 – 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 RACE 6 – 6, 7 RACE 7 – 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 RACE 8 – 2, 6, 11, 12, 13, 15 Bet Now
