Our Mid-Year All Australian Team

We’re half way through Season 2016 and as it stands we’re looking at one of the most open competitions in recent memory.

Each top eight team is seemingly in Premiership contention while the race for the Brownlow is just as open with Patrick Dangerfield the current favourite, though picking a clubhouse leader after Round 11 is anyone’s guess.

With all this in mind we’ve had a go at selecting a Mid-Year All-Australian Team – a team based on the first half of the season, not who we think we will make the team at season’s end.

As always there are some big names left out. Matt Priddis, Tom Lynch, Josh Jenkins, Kurt Tippett, Robbie Tarrant, Scott Pendlebury, Zach Merrett, Steve Johnson and Jack Gunston are just a few players whose form could see them in the team proper come September.
