Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on March 29, 2024March 29, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 8 Trisha Keeping and No. 1 Comet Bay Katie The 8 ran a great race last week placing off a wide draw. That was her first run for the new kennel at this track and she goes well off the outside. Can stun these. The 1 gets a great map here and she still has that good early toe. Will give cheek on the arm if she holds up. Race 2 No. 2 Marathon and No. 5 Moose Banner The 2 is ready here. From a very good litter, she showed enough last time to suggest she’s close to her top again. Well drawn and will give these a lot to worry about if she settles close. The 5 was good first up and will improve here. Hit the line well and will look to run on again. Keep in mind EW. Race 3 No. 6 Sky Monelli and No. 1 Blessed Doll This is as easy as it gets for all of these. The 6 will suprise here. She’s enigmatic and yet to be tested at this trip but she goes well at the track and will give a sight here. The 1 is the strongest stayer and while she’s not at her top, this is her chance to bounce back. Will be running on strongly and gets a good run early. Top two prospect. Race 4 No. 2 Lip Tricks and No. 7 Apache Havoc The 2 is the best EW go all night. Gets the right draw now and can turn the tables on this field, most of whom she me met last week. Just needs a decent step and she’s the one who won’t miss the frame here. The 7 won that race and he goes fast early. Could lead again but may not get away as he did last week. Save on him as he is the main threat. The 2 is a go though, and a good one. Race 5 No. 8 Redhead Rider and No. 4 Idle Awhile The old boy in 8 still racing well and he will look to dash up here out wide. If he finds a spot on top of the speed he can stick on to hit the frame here. The 4 also has very good early go and steps well most starts. Does his best work on the arm but that is his only chance too. Look for him to come out running. Race 6 No. 5 Sunset Frazier and No. 2 Barrio Beast The Good Friday Cup final. Great field of sprinters. The 5 goes on top. Got it done last week but he left a lot of room for improvement and that will come in this final. Steps and shows scintillating acceleration which will lead these and give him that chance to break the record. The one to beat. The 2 will run on from the back and he is racing well. At the double figures he is worth a play as he doesn’t need the arm early. He will get into it late and keep him in mind for the EW. Race 7 No. 7 Ghost Emoji and No. 4 Trevor’s Gift The 7 is clearly the best dog in this race and undoubtedly the fastest. Can be a little tardy early but drops monster sections when wound up and only a clear run is needed here to put these to the sword. The 4 is enigmatic but she’s capable and could surprise in this. Won well here two starts back and will run into this strongly. Keep in mind for exotics at least. Race 8 No. 6 Jumpin’ Jules and No. 2 Impress Rocks The 6 is looking for further now but she is still stepping well and racing well over this trip. Will get up there early again and sticks on if she goes around untouched. The 2 has been costly lately but his best would be winning. Well boxed and could get there early if he shows more drive. Patience running thin with him but he can win. Race 9 No. 1 Sunset Callisto and No. 4 Rare Speed The 1 gets his chance now and while we have been on him the last 4 starts, this is his very best chance. Can muster up to a spot first turn and he runs good time when he’s out and running. Boxed to figure. The 4 will also go well and races well at this track. Can step and show speed and sticks on very strongly here. Will hit the frame with clear running. Race 10 No. 6 Maximum Carnage and No. 5 Argyle Rose The 6 gets in very well here and while his form looks steady, it’s been against much tougher opposition than this and he’s drawn to return to the winners list. If he steps and gets up there early, it’s over. The 5 will also cart the 6 in to this with her early speed. She herself can be hard to run down so a save is warranted there. The 6 hard to stop however. Race 11 No. 2 Alden Monelli and No. 8 Go Go Sonic The 2 had all chance taken from him last week when almost coming down. Ignore that completely. He’s boxed to give this a huge shake. EW go at least but can win. The 8 will dash up and look for the arm. Can run good time when in front and will take a lot to catch if he crosses cleanly. Race 12 No. 8 Tick Tick Tick and No. 2 Trendy Miss The 8 gets another go here. While he’s better drawn in, he’s better than these and will justify the short quote with any luck at all. Very strong home over this trip. The 2 is the smokie play and she’s going better than it looks for the new kennel. Boxed to give a sight here and won’t lay down. Keep her in mind at odds.
