Race 1

Strong race here. HE IS TALKING (9) is highly talented but will have to overcome the wide draw and Gary Hall Jnr jumps off to drive WINTER SURGE (5) which could be a good lead in, have a lot of time for this lightly raced type from the stables of Ron Huston and will run a cracking race. IDEAL TITAN (6) rises in grade but looks a nice type and this will be a good test. IN RARE AIR (8) faces a wide draw but has depth and likely pushes forward to find a position. KATAMA (12) lived up to expectations last run and can go on with it, will be running on. METHUSELAH (10) needs luck from the draw, might be a novelty chance in this. SHERICKA (1) has come back well but this is a strong field to go up against and novelty chance to CROWN GENERAL (4).

Suggested Bet: WINTER SURGE (5) to win.

Race 2

TORREVEAN AMY (1) has drawn to get the run of the race, likely to get out late and be dangerous, she doesn’t win out of turn but is holding good consistent form and will run a good race. MONEY WELL SPENT (2) has elevated in recent runs and likely to be given every chance out in front. INFINITE MERIT (5) has the ability, but the application isn’t always resonating with him, he will race on speed and will be right in it. EYE BETTER (6) and SHES A MARE (7) will both be running on, just in need of a genuine tempo. BULL SHARK BETTY (11) a novelty chance.

Race 3 (Best Bet)

GALVINSTON JOHN (5) looks well placed, can use his early speed and charge across and get to the top in this, mile suits and he ticks a lot of boxes going into this race. BONPOPPY (1) is improving and is ideally drawn and shouldn’t be too far away but still looking for her first win. EASTON QUALITY (10) needs to get out in plenty of time but if the gaps come, she will run home well. SPINNER OF YARNS (3) is a novelty chance, he is a one paced type and other chances to TELL ITIN HEAVEN (6), OURFIRSTIMPRESSION (7) and BEALAWYER (8).

Suggested Bet: GALVINSTON JOHN (5) to win.

Race 4

Toughest race of the night. ELLEOFAREACTOR (2) is knocking on the door and ideally drawn to be prominent, looks a solid chance in this. AMERICAN TYPHOON (1) had every chance last run and bumps into a similar field. CARA DIANA (3) racing well and drawn to be close enough. CHIEF COPY (4) was a good effort recently and can be driven assertively in this grade. GRACEFUL SHARK (5) likes to be on speed and this grade suits, could be bullish in this. FUEGO CRUZADO (10) racing nicely and ideally drawn to be a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: ELLEOFAREACTOR (2) each way.

Race 5

SHEER ROCK LADY (1) has the draw, comes in fresh and is a bit of guess work involved here but her best is going to see her win this but her form in prior runs have been well below her best, risky but capable. MISS VINCENZA (2) racing well and ideally drawn to be prominent, go well. SEAGRASS (3) has been racing consistently and will get across to a good position and be running on well. BALINGUP BOY (6) knocking on the door but needs luck from the draw. IDEAL TOMADO (10) a novelty chance and ON THE BACK FOOT (5) racing well enough but will need to be strong late.

Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCK LADY (1) to win.

Race 6

Not a lot of exposed form here. EN PARIANT SUR (1) hasn’t been at his best but gets the draw and can improve and give them something to catch. DOUGS LEGACY (9) must overcome the wide draw but has some depth in this grade. VYBRANT (2) will improve off the first up effort, and this appears easier. STRIKE MASTER (3) is never far away but hasn’t been as sharp in his recent runs. HURRICANEHOPE (4) is ready to win but a tricky draw for her, probably rolls forward and looks for cover from a horse like ALWAYSBFRANK (8) who is now third up into the preparation and may improve in this. ELEPHANT ROCK (10) drawn to get a softer run. MAD PUNTA (6) and BOBBY WATERHOUSE (11) have shown enough to feature.

Suggested Bet: EN PARIANT SUR (1) to win.

Race 7

BEE BEE BEROC (3) gets in well after winning on Friday night, just needs a safe getaway and to hold the advantage and that is always a bit hit and miss with him. LAVRADORE (5) is capable and can step safely, big chance to lead if he can commence quicker. JUSTLIKEFLAIR (6) has been mixing form recently but best is most certainly good enough, needs to step. SELLUNE (8) is racing well and will be finishing the race off strongly, could be the play at value in an open trot.

Suggested Bet: SELLUNE (8) each way

Race 8

JIMMYS RAINBOW (1) was a good effort when nailed right on the line last time out, has good early speed and should lead and be very hard to beat at the mile. ULTIMATE SHOT (4) is a talented type but is finding it hard to break through, keeps finding a couple better on the night, will be in the thick of it. CRÈME BRULEE (10) ideally drawn and will be close to them in the run as an earning chance. Novelty chances to ALLAMERICAN EAGLE (3), WHATHITSTHEEYE (4) and UMBERTO (11).

Suggested Bet: JIMMYS RAINBOW (1) to win.

Race 9

ESSENCE OF ROYALTY (6) comes in fresh but is 2 from 2 for Chris Voak and looks very hard to beat in this on return. OUR SERAPHINA (3) has come back well and has the fitness edge and should run a good race. PRINCESS AVIATOR (1) is nicely drawn and should be reaching peak fitness by this run, has options. ELVIRA JANE (4) is capable, and her best would be in the money in this race. LUCK FROM ABOVE (8) won’t get the lovely run this week but has good closing speed and is a novelty chance with ROCKNROLL DILINGER (2) who has drawn well.
