Matt Young’s Sunday Kellerberrin Preview Posted on May 23, 2025May 23, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 THE WHIZZER (10) has lifted his class in his previous few runs and in a wide-open event he is likely to be powering home strongly. SAVE THIS DANCE (9) was solid in town last time out and has been holding good consistency, just lacks a bit of top end speed. CIAO BABE (5) was a beaten favourite here two starts ago but returned to form last time out, suited this grade. MAJOR BUZZ (6) will be running on but the draw hurts. SHADRACH (3) is a novelty chance with MISS KNOWALL (7) who is a capable type. MUMMAS LITTLE STAR (8) can run home soundly. Tips: 10 9 5 7 Suggested Bet: THE WHIZZER (10) to win. Race 2 AMERICAN MONARCH (10) returned to some better form on Tuesday, and this field looks to suit her, she has good closing speed and can go coast to coast if required, looks a hard horse to hold out. HOT CINDER (1) will lead early and has options but had been racing well and then tapered off against some nice fields and tricky draws, improver here. VELVET SHADOW (7) hit the line nicely last time out and will get a look at them from the draw, keep safe. EILEENMAY (5) returns and has the capabilities required to run well on return. KEPTAIN COURAGEOUS (8) needs some luck but this grade suits and he will be hitting the line strongly. Tips: 10 1 7 8 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN MONARCH (10) to win. Race 3 THIS TIME JACKO (4) hasn’t won a race in 40 starts, but he has been unlucky as of late and racing against stronger fields, looks hard to beat in this and is now under the care of Michael Young, expect an improvement here with a change of scenery. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (7) is ready to run a good race but just needs a touch of luck. SPEED FORCE (3) could bounce on the lead and give them something to chase, racing soundly. SANFORD BART (8) comes in fresh and is going to finish the race off strongly. SLEEK AND SWEET (9) better suited on speed so the draw hurts her chances. CRACKA TINNY (5) is improving but also has a tricky draw to work with. Tips: 4 7 8 3 Suggested Bet: THIS TIME JACKO (4) to win. Race 4 ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (1) has the perfect draw to lead and give them something to catch again, her last win but one of her best and anything like that will see her hard to run down again. JOHNNY LOMBO (7) drawn to get a good run, lacks a little be of early dash so needs to be at his best to hold up leaders back but could be dangerous late. BEYOND BLING (10) will be powering home well with MAJOR CLASS (9). BELLA RAGAZZA (5) has a tricky draw to work with, but last run was solid. SUKHOVEY WINDSTORM (6) drops in grade, but the draw doesn’t make it any easier. Tips: 1 7 10 9 Suggested Bet: ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (1) to win. Race 5 INTO THE FUTURE (9) looks well placed, last few runs have been solid and has got good closing speed, hard to beat in this. BY ROYAL COMMAND (6) and OFFICIAL ROCK (4) both racing in similar fashion and likely head forward and will be up there at the pointy end of the race. SEMINOLE JUNIOR (5) may improve in this, keep safe in the novelties with HOT ROD (8) who can improve. Tips: 9 6 4 5 Suggested Bet: INTO THE FUTURE (9) to win. Race 6 Tempo could be solid here and really suit the style of REMARKABLE ROCK (10), she has been racing in top form and if anything, this represents a drop in grade, will be getting home strongly and hard to beat. BRONZED (4) will be heading forward at the start and trying to lead, nice win last start and although this is up in grade, expecting him to improve nicely. YA BETTOR FOLLOWME (6) has been racing well and has good consistency, will have to do some work but has plenty of talent. BONNE AMOUR (1) is a novelty chance from the draw. KOLISI (3) and MAJIC BAY (8) next best for mine in a good competitive race. Tips: 10 4 6 1 Suggested Bet: REMARKABLE ROCK (10) each way. Market Market
