Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Ballarat Preview Posted on June 11, 2024June 11, 2024 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 HOLLYWOOD HIGH has trialled well enough to be hard to beat on debut. DEMOJO was well supported when narrowly beaten on debut and has jumped out nicely to resume. CASA HELENA had no luck last start. STARSCENT is another to jump out well to resume. Selections: 8,3,7,10 Suggested Bet: Hollywood High to win Race 2 RAPIDO EXPRESSO ran well in a strong maiden on debut with Red Galaxy subsequently enhancing that form. SEA OF LIGHTS has been jumping out in great style to resume on the home track. SWANNY DEE will strip fitter third up and is sure to appreciate 1400m. AQUA STORM has jumped out well to kick off at what appears a suitable distance. Selections: 6,13,7,1 Suggested Bet: Playing multiples with 6,13 & 7 Race 3 LOS ALAMOSS has been solid at her two runs to date and maps for a good run. IGNACIO has shown talent and jumped out well for the new stable. MARAVICH will need some luck from the draw but seems suited stepping up to 1400m second up. CORAL EMPEROR has jumped out well to drop back to 1400m on the fresh side. NICABUK has jumped out nicely for his debut. Selections: 9,4,5,1 Suggested Bet: Los Alamoss each way Race 4 SACREDARRO looks hard to beat, he was well backed when luckless on debut. FUTATSU could be the danger, she’ll strip fitter third up and chased bravely stepping up to this trip last start. INFRINGEMENT ran ok last time and can settle closer from a favourable draw. Selections: 6,11,4,2 Suggested Bet: Sacredarro to win Race 5 TURN IT UP TOMMY hit the line strongly last start and looks well placed stepping up to 2000m. LEGATUS and GODZILLA have been going toe to toe of late and both are in the mix again. CLEITUS displayed good fight to win last start and should strip even fitter. Selections: 1,5,2,4 Suggested Bet: Turn It Up Tommy each way Race 6 JASKIER takes the rise in grade following his maiden victory but appears to have the upside to measure up. TACITO will be at peak fitness and had excuses in a stronger race last time. LOVAZOU has jumped out well to resume and brings a handy first up record. LADY DUMONT had her chance last start and is in the mix with luck from the draw. Selections: 2,1,6,12 Suggested Bet: Jaskier each way Race 7 RACKEMANN brings the right form and strikes a suitable race to notch his second victory. MR TRAFFICANTI has jumped out nicely to resume and has run well first up previously without winning. LIGHT OF ROSE made good late ground last start and looks suited stepping up to 1400m. PREVAILED was below his best last time but the form out of that race has been franked and his previous win gives him claims here. Selections: 2,6,9,1 Suggested Bet: Rackemann to win Race 8 Good race bringing together a few gallopers with bright futures. PHARARI has plenty of upside, she won a modest maiden in dominant fashion first up and has jumped out in great style since. STOKKE is another with upside, she measured up ok in a strong race last start and has also jumped out well between runs. WRITTEN BLIGH also fits the category of horses with bright futures and ran well in the same race as Stokke first up. WALTER SPUR will strip fitter third up and will be strong late. Selections: 7,13,10,2 Suggested Bet: Playing multiples with 7,13,10 & 2 Market Market
