Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on May 2, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 4 Mind Reader Copped a few checks last time yet his effort was still good when he finished off well out wide. Can get into the race quickly and just needs to offset the draw here to threaten. Race 5 No. 6 Cut Model and No. 9 Pumping Gas The 6 was superb last week showing those reliable box manners and early speed. Very hard to get past on the arm and will again look for that early. The 9 will get over to the fence and while he can’t beat these on equal terms, he might get a few cheap runs along the rails late to place. EW spec for him .Race 8 No. 3 Uncompromised Always thereabouts and this is winnable. Can show good muster and his effort last start was again strong. Goes his 22.5 which is around the mark in this and he will present at some stage. Good show here. Race 9 No. 3 Timmy Timebomb and No. 2 Opal Deluxe The 3 missed the start last time out here which is unlike him. Still recovered well to place and can get up there much sooner. He will get a cart as well off the good stepper inside him in 2. She goes fast early and can be hard to reel in and they will both be prominent throughout here. Both also go well around here. Race 10 No. 5 Guess Why and No. 8 Granite County Some of these have not won for a while but they have been presented with a chance here. The 5 will get up there early and the distance suits this time and she will give a great sight. The 8 will descend late and again look to run home into the frame. Some question about him going past but his effort last week was enough to consider strongly here. Race 12 No. 6 Molotov Boy and No. 4 Aussie Singman The 6 gets in well here. Been racing much tougher opposition and the draw won’t be an issue here. Great record track and trip and hard to beat. The 4 will run his usual honest race. Comes out of the Sprinters plate final last start where he cost himself the win by again lacking conviction when going up to the leader. That’s his issue all round as his record reflects but he will be in the finish with any luck. SANDOWN Race 2 No. 4 King Eternal Race 5 No. 5 Stella Girl and No. 7 Mepunga Loaf Race 6 No. 5 Emerley Zoe and No. 3 Sephora Bale Race 7 No. 3 Crackerjack Boom and No. 6 Binny Doo Race 12 No. 7 Cabao Jasper Market Market
