Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on September 19, 2023September 19, 2023 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 FLOOZIE was well supported when hitting the line strongly on debut and looks suited stepping up to 1300m. MISTAVAIN fought bravely when running second first up and Goldie has made that form look strong. INVINCIBLE SHIELD has jumped out nicely and gets winkers first up. PROCUREABLE, FURIOUS and LOMENIE have claims in a deep maiden. Selections: 13,11,8,5 Suggested Bet: Floozie to win Race 2 LIMBURG gave a great sight at his first Victorian run and should roll forward again from the wide draw. EL PODER DEL SOL looks a promising stayer and is capable of improving on his first up run in stronger company. BASILINNA tested a promising galloper in Wolfy on debut and should be better for that outing. SALSITA has trialled well for his debut. BINOTTO was no match for Lindburg last time but is in the mix. Selections: 5,2,11,8 Suggested Bet: Limburg each way Race 3 HEDGED comes back to 1000m but he also drops in grade and is building a handy record. HONOR GALORE looked good winning on the Ballarat synthetic track on debut and has trialled well to resume. MANTUA got a deserved win last time with blinkers applied. ATLANTIC SPIRIT fought on bravely to score first up and Floozie will give a guide to that form in the first race. Selections: 1,5,2,6 Suggested Bet: Working around 1 & 5 Race 4 POISON CHALICE looks promising and seems well placed to continue his winning run, can’t see 1600m pulling him up. SIRIUS BLACK is racing consistently and gets blinkers on. ASEVENTY SEVEN is fit, racing well and is drawn for a good run again. JENNIFERENTI was poor first up but her previous form was solid and she gets a tongue tie applied. Selections: 1,3,2,5 Suggested Bet: Poison Chalice to win Race 5 LADY HAMPTON has jumped out in great style and should be charging late first up. BOLDINHO continues to race well from wide draws and deserves a change of luck. LITTLE MISS GUTSAA will strip fitter after an encouraging return and Blake Sinn takes over. TRUFFLE FINDER has trialled ok to resume. CRAFT STAR won well on a synthetic surface last time and his turf form is solid. Selections: 9,1,5,7 Suggested Bet: Lady Hampton each way Race 6 GLITZING is still improving deep into her campaign and looks competitive again despite another rise in grade. AMATI has jumped out well to resume and looks suited at 1300m first up. AWAPUNI PRINCESS will be hitting the line hard and her chances are enhanced by any rain. DEMANDO will make her own luck and could be suited coming back to 1300m in this grade. DISCERNING, GIRL, FIASCO TESS and AIMING have claims in a deep race. Selections: 6,1,5,2 Suggested Bet: Glitzing each way Race 7 UNLIMITED MAGIC has trialled well to resume and should be suited by what appears to be a solid tempo. LUNA CAT races well here and will be hard to beat with any luck from the inside draw. PRANCING SPIRIT ended up in an awkward spot first up and will strip fitter. ETINENNE lokks part of the speed after an impressive first up ein in Adelaide. CAVALLO RAMPANTE has returned in good form and beat Luna Cat home last start. Selections: 10,8,3,5 Suggested Bet: Unlimited Magic each way Race 8 RICK’S CAFE will strip fitter third up and should appreciate the step up to 1800m. UNSEEN RULER has been hitting the line well recently and can measure up despite the rise in grade. GEORGIE GET MAD is racing well and gets blinkers on. SIR ROCKFORD continues to race well deep into his campaign. FREEDOM ESCAPE, ARAVENE, TARAMANSOUR and RESET THE JAZZ are in the mix in another deep race. Selections: 4,8,11,5 Suggested Bet: Rick’s Cafe to win Market Market
