Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on September 8, 2022September 8, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 1 Daisy’s Boy Boxed to get his chance here. Has a bit on these at his best and should be able to step and hold the fence. On the arm will see him very hard to catch over this trip. Race 5 No. 2 Dash For Cash Underrated girl who can show pace and get up there with a clean step. Has run some good races beating quality dogs and while she needs to nail the start, she can do so and be a force here. Race 8 No. 5 Izuku His best chance here would be for him to continue his latest traits of missing the start. A few wide runners who are badly drawn will give him a chance to make a fast mid race dash up the back. Strong run home will see him hit the podium. EW player. Race 9 No. 7 Matsuyama and No. 3 Trent Monelli The 7 was outstanding last week. Slow out but got into gear and charged home from the back to run 2nd. Has superior form lines deeper in and can blow these away with a clear run. Just needs to stay close early. The 3 will give a sight from the draw. He will go fast and if he leads he will be very hard to run down. Can run time. Race 11 No. 8 Fontella Last chance. No excuses against this field and gets every possible hope off the draw. Disappointed her last two but it doesn’t get any easier than this. Must show up early and cross and put these away or no more. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 8 Osprey Storm and No. 6 What Could Be The 8 is promising and can deliver the knockout blow here. Had a chequered passage last week and copped checks when making runs. Clear run can get it done here. The 6 will be the smoky. Led early then shuffled back but came again late in the same race. She can stick on strongly at a price. Don’t dismiss. Race 5 No. 2 Speciality His form is woeful but he is much much better than that. Vacant box inside him means he gets his chance to drive up here and has some big sections when he gets clear running. Will go close with a good step. Race 6 No. 6 Crymelon Comet Surprising effort last week and a repeat would seem him competitive here. Went fast and stuck on strongly and can deliver a similar run here. Runs the trip and can run enough time to get it done and hit the podium at least. Race 8 No. 2 Aston Samba and No. 3 Stay Strong Taking this fav on. The 2 will try and punch up and hold here and when she leads she is much better and hard to catch. The 3 is ready for this trip now and gets a nice map here. Will keep reeling off strong sections in the run home and be hard to hold out. Both good EW shows. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 8 Tybalt Bale Former VIC who has yet to hit his straps here but gets his chance in this. He showed enough in his heat to suggest that a clear run will see him in the finish. Worth nothing this race is void of any real strong dogs and a lot will get tired. He won’t. Can hit the podium. Race 3 No. 7 Osprey Athena First heat of the SA Oaks. The 7 has a stack of talent and no hiding the lengths the Vics have on the locals. Will be a matter of how well she has travelled and handles the track first up. Can reel off big sections. The fav the only one she doesn’t want to be chasing but there are possible questions over her tonight. Can hit top two. Race 4 No. 3 Yahiro Bale Has more on these than you can count. Class runner who has raced the best in VIC and only needs to handle the track to blow these away. 29.39 Sandown and 29.84 The Meadows…..enough said. Only bad luck stops her winning. She’s very good. Race 6 No. 6 Korda Another VIC visitor. He is bit tardy early but winds up strongly and has a good last section on him. More of a place heavy type here but don’t be surprised to see him win if he lands close enough. Race 7 No. 8 Blazin’ Master and No. 7 Cosmic Sin A few more interstate raiders here. The 8 can drop a turn of foot and when he is on the arm or close to it, he’s very hard to stop. The 7 is a speedy type who can go low 30 at The Meadows. That breaks 30.6 here and he will give a sight if he crosses. Both super hopes. Race 8 No. 7 Columbus Monelli and No. 6 Springvale Bray The WA young star arrives here and is coming off a fast trial last week. Has any amount of ability and responsible for one of the biggest wins you will see at Cannington. Clear run and he will make his presence felt. There are worse $81 shots than the 6. Had this been a few months later, he would be a force but while he is green and still learning, he has a lot of talent and can surprise here if he gets any luck. Small save spec place heavy on him. He will shock with the right run. The 7 is the main play. Race 9 No. 5 Bedrock Fred and No. 4 March Legend The 5 is better known as a stayer but he just gets his chance here. This looks very messy on paper at the first turn and it will allow him to stay close. Will smash the line. The 4 only needs first turn luck to win. Has a strong middle section and is racing well. Hard to catch. Keen on a result here with both. Race 12 No. 4 Under Siege and No. 3 Our Boy Jake The 4 continues to break hearts. Has so much ability but gets a long way back and takes forever to wind up. The full field and tricky map might help her get on to the back of these early. Has the biggest run home here. Watch for her late. Giving the 3 another chance. Very disappointing last week but he does that from time to time and can bounce back here. Will look ominous with a clear run. Market Market
