Looks a great race for her. QUEEN OF JERUSALEM went around at massive odds first-up but hit the line particularly well in an eye catching return. FEUDING is going well and will whack away. SO LIKEABLE pinches a maiden eventually with his front running pattern. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – BROADWAY BRENDA WIN RACE 2 WHO’S ME DADDY looks ready for this trip. Last start may have just run into a nice animal in Alaskan God and with Alaskan God going round $1.70 on Wednesday in a Class 1 at Ascot we get a great sighter into the strength of the form. Think he can topple the fav with the right run. ARCADIA GEM improved sharply first-up to second-up. Looks like a real staying filly so the drop back to 1700m is a minor unknown. Likely to go around artificially short being in the Peters Investments colours. Could chime into the fillies staying series. MYSTICAL BABE went back to trials after refusing to load first-up. Liked the trial behind Bogart. WHAITIRI an improver at huge odds. Numbers: 1 – 9 – 8 – 6 Suggested Bet – WHO’S ME DADDY WIN RACE 3 SWEET ADMIRATION trialled like a filly who would be winning first-up. She strikes a relatively thin field of maidens and is drawn an ideal barrier. Third behind Burnya To Survive and then third behind Extra Secret reads up well for this. Think she’s a filly on the rise and is worth following this preparation. VRANYO gets weight relief with the Watson claim and might be best served being allowed to roll. Doesn’t seem to have much when asked for an effort. HERO IN THE WIND trialled well but the draw is sticky. THE COOLAKIN KING was beaten almost 6L on debut but Harmika is a Saturday type filly. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 3 – 1 Suggested Bet – SWEET ADMIRATION WIN RACE 4 NOBLE BORN had three runs in the initial preparation, finishing third behind Trevern on debut when doing a fair bit wrong and racing wide throughout, then second to Devoted in a particularly high rating Northam maiden and then was crunched into odds on at start three in a 3yo 0MWLY when finishing third behind Buzzoom (future Listed winner). Recent trial was super and whatever she opens she’ll be popular. Shop early. BLACK SPIRIT trialled very well and looked like she would be winning races early in her career. MARKET STRYKE is an on pace type who will roll along. SPORTS TALK next best. Numbers: 5 – 10 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – NOBLE BORN WIN RACE 5 STRIKE NOW won well on debut in a maiden handicap and then was a bit stiff when searching for runs early in the home straight before flashing up the inside when second to Stella Fair. Kept out of trouble he looks like being hard to hold out late. PARLARE only won a maiden at Geraldton but all his previous metro and provincial maiden form was strong. Can give some cheek at a double figure quote. DISENGO was well thought off in a C3 first-up off the back of a nice trial. KEEP YOUR FEET drops back into a C1. Has ability but has struggled for consistency. Numbers: 5 – 4 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – STRIKE NOW WIN RACE 6 ARRACITY loomed into it last start but never looked like running down Yeman Lass. Prior effort in the 66+ Pearl Classic was strong and from that race we’ve seen winner Lipstick Flickers sit three deep the trip in a 72+ and win and then we’ve also see Karli’s Karma win a C3 in style at Ascot. Maps a treat again and goes round eachway. ZOUDINI is a back marking type so the wide gate shouldn’t worry him. The way he hit the line last start at 1000 suggests that he’ll savage the line again. POLICIERE is so well placed back into a C3. The 1200 is an unknown and she’s racing below her best but she really should go well in this. JUSTHANDY didn’t fire fresh. Back to trials and trialled well. Numbers: 6 – 7 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – ARRACITY EACHWAY RACE 7 MY BABY BLUE JEAN comes from Saturday racing back to the midweekers and gives stable apprentice Victoria Corver a wonderful opportunity to break back into the winner’s circle. Lead them a merry dance in a 3 year old Plate two starts ago and then simply went way too hard for her own good last start in a 60+ Graduation at 1100m. Drawn the hug the outside fence and should be simply too brilliant for them. TO RISE AGAIN was arguably a good thing beat last week. Has turned a corner and loves the Pinjarra straight. Big danger. CAPTAIN SHARMANE is fresh and gives the indication that straight racing and high speed racing will suit. WOODBUG a mad one for novelty players.
