Drawn a perfect gate looks awfully hard to beat. PICTURE SHOW and HAYSTACKS both make their Midwest debut and can both run races. INVICTUS DOMIN is a big galloper who should improve for the first-up outing. Numbers: 5 – 8 – 4 – 2 Suggested Bet – THE FULL QUID WIN Race 2 PAGANI was held up for the entire length of the home straight last time out and looked nearly a good thing beaten. Did get out late but the race was over and with clear air here she gets her chance to bounce back. MAY KEEP HIM was run down by the stablemate at Esperance but is getting mighty close to breaking through. MISTER KRUMPETS brings provincial maiden form to the mid west and that has proved strong all season. ZIERA was smashed at her Gero debut and didn’t get any luck. Numbers: 8 – 1 – 3 – 9 Suggested Bet – PAGANI WIN Race 3 GLAMOUR BELLE is racing well and Brodie Kirby gets a nice pick up ride here. Drops from 1900 back to a mile and from the gate should be able to give this mare every chance. WRITTEN LAW won well last start and if he can handle the sharp rise in trip he’ll go close. OUQBA RED is the beneficiary of an inside gate and a claim. Puts him right in the race. STILL AWAKE was just found wanting late first-up. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – GLAMOUR BELLE WIN Race 4 AVIDUS was backed like a good thing at Bunbury ($6 into $3.4) and then everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Missed the kick, pulled like a train, set alight mid race only to get planted 3 deep outside the leader and was gone a fair way out. Backing up and going again with a riding change. FREEZ’EMOFF is always around the mark in this grade and the trip should suit. TRULY GOLD ran well first-up on his way toward a Geraldton Cup. FREEDOM BY CHOICE is going well and getting under the radar. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – AVIDUS WIN Race 5 SKY ATLAS loves it at Geraldton. 7 starts for 3 wins and 2 minors and with the way the track was playing last start he was never a winning chance. Went back to last and nothing had made an inch all day. Up in trip, Alan Kennedy on and drawn a gate. Keep safe. HOT STYLE is going well and draws a gate to stalk the speed and fire through. MYCROFT could be an astute pick up for the region. Maybe not today but for the Cup. SADLERS HILLS a big beneficiary of a 3kg claim. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – SKY ATLAS WIN Race 6 MIDNIGHT ROCKET returns to the races after a let up of just over 2 months. He has a stack of ability and if there are no scratchings could come into gate 6 which would be perfect to sit just off what looks a hot tempo with speed drawn in various parts of the line he’ll take beating. BLANKENBERGE is a nice mare to take around the country circuit. Has speed, honest, consistent and lowly rated. Lovely money spinner. BITOVEMU is getting lose and draws well. DEE TRUMP can surprise a few at a price. Numbers: 1 – 6 – 11 – 3 Suggested Bet – MIDNIGHT ROCKET WIN Race 7 RECOILED stays in the same grade and Madi Derrick has had a ride on him now and should be able to again step him cleanly. If he jumps he’ll take serious beating. PINSSON was winning from the 800 last start but track conditions did suit him on that occasion. Can go on with it. FLYING ROAR was flying before a break but draws a tough gate. MY DEMI can be a hard mare to catch but if the real My Demi turns up she’ll fly late.
