Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 11, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 LIQUID DINNA could open up any price really with last four runs 4th at Mingenew, 2nd last at Ascot at 100-1, 3rd at Dongara and last at Ascot but his overall form is not that bad and he joins a new yard and trialed well enough to run a race. ANGRY ANNIE will be right up on pace. The recent trial was alright and race form really does stand out. ICE MAKER lumps 63kg after the 4kg claim for debut rider Austin Galati. Good luck son. DOLLY EM next best. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – LIQUID DINNA WIN Race 2 MISS MARIETTA has only won two races and both were up the 1000m straight at Pinjarra but some of the form around the bend was against better 3yo opposition than this. SAUVEGARDE was a big winner at Mt Barker. Ramoly let her do her own thing and she came with a powerful finish. Keep safe again. SCANDALOUS MISS is speedy and will lead them up for a long way into the straight. FOXY ROYALE burst onto the scene for Matt Scott and recent assignments tougher than this. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 4 – 1 Suggested Bet – MISS MARIETTA WIN Race 3 AFLICA’S GIRL has been catching the eye of late. Return runs have all been good from a fair way back and now at the 1300 and with the 3kg claim of Kristy Bennett she looks well placed to break through. ALL SQUARE is well placed in this grade with 59kg on the back. If Galati finds the front he’ll get a wonderful opportunity to kick home his first winner. MARLIZE was jumping out of the ground late at Narrogin to score. ALLURING can run a race with no weight. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – AFLICA’S GIRL WIN Race 4 ADMIRED has been whacking away alright at a mile and drops into a weak staying maiden. If he can position midfield he looks like he could sustain a bit of a grinding run. FUSION was a sharp improver out in trip last start and looks like a stayer. CANIMAN has not done a whole lot wrong since being stepped out over a trip. KEBALAH into a handicap could surprise at a price. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 1 – 9 Suggested Bet – ADMIRED EACHWAY Race 5 FETCH MORE AMMO will be short in the market but the last start was nothing short of brave. Sat three deep the trip no cover and only went down a half-length into fifth. If she can reproduce that effort against lesser opposition she should salute. JUPITERS SUN gets under the guard and from the inside can run a cheeky race at a price. GLEN ALBYN back in trip and gear chance. Keep in mind for exotics. VITAL BOOM has had no luck recently. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 5 – 3 Suggested Bet – FETCH MORE AMMO WIN Race 6 YULONG EARTH has not won for a fair while but his Eastern States form reads up very well for a race of this nature and Mark Bairstow wins races with these More than Ready offcasts. TOMMY TO JACK was off the track throughout last start and kept coming. The run was full of merit and he’ll be ignored by the market. PALACHINO can mix her form and can miss the kick but has undeniable ability. JASPARA is one to keep safe and in the mind for novelties. Can run a race fresh without surprising. Numbers: 2 – 8 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – YULONG EARTH EACHWAY Race 7 SAFE TO MAKEUP has not shown much in two career outings but the trial before debut was good. Blinkers go on for the first time and draws a gate to sit closer in the run. Could bob up and surprise a few. CANDIJAY should lead this from the inside and should have gone very close on debut. BRAVE CONTENDER is knocking on the door but draws awkwardly. WESTERN CHANT was the target of strong money on debut and almost got the chocolates. Numbers: 9 – 6 – 2 – 10 Suggested Bet – SAFE TO MAKEUP EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,3,4,7,9 1,4,5 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9 2,6,9,10 Market Market
