Scott Embry’s Saturday Esperance Preview Posted on November 22, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 TRUTH AND LIES goes 5L better at Esperance than at Kalgoorlie. Race fit, drawn well, excellent use of claiming apprentice, she should continue on the dominance of team Fernie. WHERE’S WALLY is a big danger and has plenty more wins in him if they can keep him sound. BELLS TOWER and ANOTHER DEMON are speedy and always take running down. Numbers: 6 – 3 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – TRUTH AND LIES WIN Race 2 SNIPPIRANHA went very close at the final Kalgoorlie meeting when going under as an odds on favourite. The winner looks a nice enough animal and he she should break her maiden here. JACK’S FROST is no slouch and if he can come across and sit over the speed gives the favourite some opposition. BUSY ONE finds a new home but showed glimpses in town. RYDON in a similar vein. Numbers: 8 – 1 – 5 – 2 Suggested Bet – SNIPPIRANHA WIN Race 3 SOUND OF FURY looks extremely well placed in this C2 event to score. Should enjoy a wonderful tow into the race behind speedy animals like Total Disc and Prince of Promises as well as Shirasca. Hard to hold out late. LUNA ROSSA does a lot wrong in the run but has a turn of foot. TOTAL DISC was backed hard at York and landed the money. MAGIC PLANET showed ability in town for Adam Durrant. Fresh, keep safe. Numbers: 8 – 4 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – SOUND OF FURY WIN Race 4 CHOSEN ART lands at a new stable. She showed some ability at trials for Bruce Watkins and the Brown yard have a knack of picking up his tried animals and improving them. She could get under the radar to an extent. EASINGTON fresh is worth including at a price. EXPLOSION and WATTO’S ASSASSIN are perennial maidens who should break through soon. Numbers: 11 – 7 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – CHOSEN ART WIN Race 5 THISORTHAT gets off them but has a turn of foot to get himself out of trouble and is racing particularly well. Provided they can make ground he’ll be in the mix in a wide open race. PROZONE is in a purple patch and if Conway can find the front and utilize her 4kg claim to advantage he takes running down. DEMTIMES gains a start and will be a forgotten horse. He has ability. JOVELLA took a while to break her maiden but enjoys the run of the race. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 15 – 7 Suggested Bet – THISORTHAT WIN Race 6 UNIKAT has the most ability in the field without a doubt but he obviously has his fair share of issues. Was 3 from 3 undefeated for Darren McAuliffe before being thrown in the deep end in the Fairetha. Then had four disappointing starts for Adam Durrant and is now down in Esperance. If he can turn a corner he’ll go through the grades. STOCKYARD GOSSIP came via the callers box at York and finished powerfully. MAKURU loves it at Esperance. Forgive her Kalgoorlie form. URQUELL is racing well and draws well. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 7 – 10 Suggested Bet – UNIKAT WIN Quaddie (Race 3 – 6) 8 1,3,5,7,10,11 4,6,7,8,11,15 2,5,7,10 Market Market
