Scott Embry’s Wednesday Ascot Preview Posted on November 19, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 MR FAHRENHEIT was given a peach by Noske last start and was unable to reel in surprise winner Shoes of Ekraar. Gets another wonderful opportunity to break his maiden here. CORNFLOWER has shown ability at trials but yet to fire at the races. Shades on, could be a sharp improver. BOLSHOI GAL leads or box seats from the gate. ROMAN FLIRT comes from a weak maiden but Oliver on will get tongues wagging. Numbers: 2 – 10 – 3 – 5 Suggested Bet – MR FAHRENHEIT WIN Race 2 DIVIDE THE SEA comes out of the 3 year old features and has shades added for the first time. If Harry Grace can get some luck from the draw then he should be able to get over the top of far inferior opposition to what he’s met so far this campaign. SPECIAL BEAU is improving with racing and won well last start. TRAMIKA jumps and runs and beat home a nice enough galloper last start. Expecting Parnham to have the foot down a fair way out. THREE EZE only held off moderate gallopers last start but should only improve with experience. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – DIVIDE THE SEA WIN Race 3 MEGACHINO should roll straight to the top for Peter Knuckey and give backers a big sight. Tiarnna Robertson is one of the form trainers of the region at the minute, going at over 25% last 3 months. He’ll take running down. SIRIUS MAGIC is a big gangly type who is still raw. He likely parks outside Megachino and could easily be too powerful late. Worth following. HE’S A GUNSLINGER has ability and the first-up run was strong behind Devoted Star. Only fair last start but draws a perfect alley. GOTTA MOTOR is a maiden taking on C1 opposition but the horses he’s run into so far in his career are all as strong as these. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – MEGACHINO EACHWAY Race 4 SUMMIT TRAIL looks really well placed to break back into the winner’s circle. Dropped back into a C3 last start when leading them up on a day when the winners were all coming from off the fence. His recent efforts have actually been better when ridden back and Turner gets him going. Hard to hold out. MORNING SONG is far better suited out to 1800 than the first-up assignment. STELLA ANNE has hit form and draws soft. SULPHUR CRESTED won a moderate maiden last start but seems to be improving with distance. Numbers: 8 – 7 – 6 – 9 Suggested Bet – SUMMIT TRAIL WIN Race 5 BEDOUIN BELLE has shades added to race gear, drops in grade back to a C3 and enjoys the luxurious claim of an in-form Jade McNaught. Back to the 1000 looks to be in her favour and she should run a big race with any luck. UNIBRO back into a C3 catches the eye. Most recent form in far stronger company than this. CUBALLING could not have been more impressive on debut at Bunbury. If he gets to the breeze takes beating. TYCOON LEGEND goes well for Peter Hall. Watch for him flashing late. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 11 – 8 Suggested Bet – BEDOUIN BELLE EACHWAY Race 6 SUPREME FORCE has always promised more than he has delivered but this looks a nice race for him on paper. First-up effort was better than it reads when finding a bit of trouble at crucial stages. 1200 looks his go and he draws well for a gun hoop. FLOWER OF SCOTLAND is a hard mare to ride but fresh she always runs well and has been consistent in this type of grade for seasons. NERODIO is deep into a preparation but racing particularly well. Needs luck but hard to hold out. ORANGE STRUDEL normally runs a race fresh. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 4 – 10 Suggested Bet – SUPREME FORCE WIN Race 7 WANNA BE GOOD is a hard horse to catch but has won off the quick back-up before. Won backing up off 4 days in May and this race looks suitable. 72+ back to a 60+ and they should be able to wind-up three deep with cover. Keen safe. SPORIT AND FIRE has been racing below his best but this is a serious class drop for him. ACONITE was thrown in the deep end last campaign, nice mare resuming. LICKETY SPLIT rolls forward and rarely runs a bad race. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 5 – 8 Suggested Bet – WANNA BE GOOD WIN Race 8 BEE QUICK has come back a far more impressive animal this campaign. First-up was big when winning what has turned into a fairly strong maiden and then the last two in unsuitable pattern races have been excellent. Back into a C1 looks hard to toss. MR KUNAFA was luckless last start when well supported. His debut win over Superstorm was strong. ADMIRATION STREET ran well first-up and draws to get it soft. OUR IDYLL has improved sharply since the shades went on. Numbers: 11 – 6 – 12 – 10 Suggested Bet – BEE QUICK WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,2,4,5,8,11 1,4,7,10 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 6,10,11,12 Market Market
