Race 5 – No. 2  Patchy Kat

Has a good record over this trip winning 3 of 4 and finishing 2^nd in his only other try. Unbeaten in stripes and should be able to double up in this.

Race 7 – No. 1  Oxley Rebel

Had no luck last week when looming large approaching the turn and looking the winner. The improved draw helps and he may be able to go one better in this.

Race 8 – No. 5  Pour Some Sugar    (Place Boost)

Backmarker who looks in need of longer but he has been thereabouts at big odds in recent efforts over the trip and should prove to be more value for the place than the favourite does to salute.
