Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on December 28, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: BOOK INTO THE BEAU RIVAGE RESTAURANT MS PACE EL JACKO (10) was ultra-impressive in recording 1.55.2 in a heat of the San Simeon before working hard when 2nd to Mista Shark in the final. He is awkwardly drawn tonight but is still the one to beat. HANDSANDWHEELS (1) was placed in one of the 4YO Classics before leading throughout to win in easier company last start and will give a great sight. IMA ROCKNROLL LEGEND (5) has been placed at his two starts back from a spell and can figure. GLENFERRIE RUSTLER (2) will be fitter for a good 2nd after a long a long absence. Tips: 10 1 5 2 Suggested Bet: EL JACKO (10) to win. Race 2: $7 PINTS AT JP’S SPORTSBAR MS PACE ITZ BETTOR TO WIN (12) ran on strongly to finish 3rd to Vampiro last start and will appreciate a big drop in class from his recent assignments. MAJOR CATASTROHE (6) was a strong first up winner and looks suited tonight. MASTER JAXON (10) is nowhere near his top but is another who will appreciate the easier company. TANAKA EAGLE (9) really struggled during and since the Inters series but may be able to cross at the start and would be a big improver in front. Tips: 12 6 10 9 Suggested Bet: ITZ BETTOR TO WIN (12) to win. SuperPick - Race 2 no. 12 ITZ BETTOR TO WIN - Money Back Race 3: STEELO’S AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (12) has won nine of his 19 starts but hasn’t been at his best recently. His last effort had merit when he started from this draw and finished a close up 5th to Vampiro and he could represent value tonight. LIVURA (4) was a good winner over Thereugo in a heat of the Binshaw before finishing 3rd in the final and has a nice draw here. NEW WORLD ORDER (10) is drawn well for his racing style and will be charging home if he sees daylight. SPRINGSTEEN (2) is working up to his best form and should be a good price. Tips: 12 4 10 2 Suggested Bet: TALKTOMEURMATTJESTY (12) to win. Race 4: BOOK YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE AT GLOUCESTER PARK HANDICAP SS PACE IDEALINDIAMONDS (11) has won five of his six Australian starts and was a comfortable winner in a similar event last week. He goes back to the 20m line but looks the class runner again. ASSASSINATOR (8) has been placed at his past five starts from the stand and should be thereabouts again. RED SALUTE (9) was a fair 5th at his first stand run for a considerable time and must be considered. GLOW BRIGHT (7) finished strongly off a good sit in a mobile event last start and should be finishing strongly here. Tips: 11 8 9 7 Suggested Bet: IDEALINDIAMONDS (11) to win. Race 5: FOLLOW GLOUCESTER PARK ON FACEBOOK MS PACE A PICCADILLY PRINCESS (11) raced extremely well in the Mares Classics before facing the breeze and battling on well to finish 3rd to My Hard Copy last week. This draw suits her racing style and she will be finishing strongly. TRICKY STYX (1) has disappointed this campaign but was an impressive Byford trial winner and can improve from the pole. DEVENDRA (5) split Soho Tribeca and My Hard Copy in a heat of the Inters and will give a sight if he can lead. SIMPLY SUSATIONAL (7) will be charging home if they go hard. Tips: 11 1 5 7 Suggested Bet: A PICCADILLY PRINCESS (11) to win. Race 6: THE COULSON FINAL MS PACE MACZAFFAIR (2) raced well against the boys in the 4YO Classics before sitting outside DIOR MIA MORE (6) when 2nd to that mare in their heat. She has the advantage at the draw tonight and should turn the tables. DIOR MIA MORE (6) was an impressive heat winner but is drawn awkwardly tonight. AUCTIONEERS ELSU (1) looks a great place chance from the pole. MON LILLIES (3) should enjoy a nice trip from this draw and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 5 2 10 3 Suggested Bet: MACZAFFAIR (2) to win. Race 7: THE VILLAGE KID MS PACE SOHO TRIBECA (2) performed well during the Inters series but didn’t get into the race in the final. He is well drawn here and is clearly the one to beat. CHICAGO BULL (3) didn’t miss a beat during the Inters and finished 2nd to Lazarus in the final and is the obvious danger. MY HARD COPY (10) was an impressive winner at his first start back with Hall Snr and could be dangerous from this draw. ZACH MAGUIRE (1) doesn’t have the class of the aforementioned trio but would be a great place chance if he sits early. Tips: 2 3 10 1 Suggested Bet: SOHO TRIBECA (2) to win. Race 8: BOOK A PRIVATE BOX AT GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE DODOLICIOUS (9) ran three consecutive 2nds to Donegal Rundlescreek before struggling from wide draws in the Mares’ Classics. She is drawn poorly again but this is a significant drop in class and can return to the winners’ circle. SKIPPY RASCAL (1) was a 1.55.2 winner from this draw three starts back and will give a great sight again. JOHNNY FOX (10) doesn’t have great numerical form but has a nice trailing draw tonight. COURAGE TELLS (8) was an upset winner from this draw during the Inters series and could surprise again. Tips: 9 1 10 8 Suggested Bet: DODOLICIOUS (9) to win. Race 9: TABTOUCH – THE BRAND THAT FUNDS THE INDUSTRY MS PACE MAJOR STARE (3) has run nice placings at his past three starts from back line draws in stronger fields. He will appreciate this barrier and looks the one to beat. LIGHTNING JOLT (1) has started from wide draws at his last four starts and won two of them and will give a great sight from the pole. TISADREAM (10) has led and been beaten as a short price favourite at two of his last four starts but is a wining chance from this draw. SUNROSE VILLAGE (2) has improved of late and can be thereabouts from this barrier. Tips: 3 1 10 2 Suggested Bet: MAJOR STARE (3) to win. Race 10: HAPPY NEW YEARS FROM GLOUCESTER PARK MS PACE MISS SANGRIAL (4) resumed from a spell with a strong win at Northam before she couldn’t get into the race at GP. She is drawn inside her main rival and should give a great sight. COTT BEACH (9) hasn’t come back as dominant this season but is still a classy customer and can overcome the wide draw. ELLA GANT PLAYER (3) and BEAUDIENE BEACH BABE (2) don’t have the class of the favoured pair but are drawn well and can figure. Tips: 4 9 3 2 Suggested Bet: MISS SANGRIAL (4) to win. Bet Now
