Chicago Bull Has The Weapons Posted on December 5, 2017December 5, 2017 | Posted by Julio Santarelli Prominent owner Glen Moore has no doubt Chicago Bull has the profile to win the $1.1 million 2017 TABtouch Inter Dominion final at Gloucester Park on Friday. Moore is no stranger to Inter Dominion success, having won the prestigious race on three previous occasions with the Gary Hall trained superstar Im Themightyquinn. Moore and Hall, Perth’s leading owner and trainer combination are chasing their fourth Inter Dominion success with Chicago Bull, WA harness racing’s reigning Horse of the Year. The son of Bettors Delight can cap a sensational 12-months after taking out the WA Pacing Cup-Fremantle Pacing Cup earlier in the year, becoming the first pacer to complete the prestigious double in the same season since Im Themightyquinn in 2012. Moore said it was Chicago Bull’s adaptability to handle all challenges that are levelled his way in major races that will prove critical in Friday’s Inter Dominion showdown. “He is very, very versatile,” Moore said on Tabradio. “He has obviously proven he can lead and has beaten Soho Tribeca in front. “He’s breezed and won a pacing cup, circling the field from last to do that. “His big weapon is the other weapon in that he can be sat up and explode. “He has got a lot of versatility which I think is very important in a race like this.” Moore said Chicago Bull’s campaign throughout the three Inter Dominion heats has given his confidence an additional boost. Chicago Bull won two of his three heats and was placed third at Bunbury behind Soho Tribeca when he flashed home late. “This horse has gone beyond expectations over a period of time and we have all been big on him,” Moore said. “He can handle pressure and at the end of the day he has proven to us he can win an Inter Dominion. “I think he will be a threat, albeit he has to get all the breaks “I don’t think we have seen the best of him.” Chicago Bull ($3.80) is second favourite behind Mark Purdon’s New Zealand star, Lazarus ($2.10).
