Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 23, 2017November 23, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS SAN SIMEON CLASSIC QUALIFYING HEAT 1 EL JACKO (10) has been building into form after a 12 month layoff and was a strong winner over WALKINSHAW (7) last start. He has the most ability in the event but is awkwardly drawn and can do things wrong on occasions. STROKE OF LUCK (6) has impressed in winning his last two in Victoria and has form around Heaven Rocks in NZ. WALKINSHAW (7) is ultra-consistent and will be thereabouts if he has any luck from this draw. BETTOR BE LIVELY (1) is perfectly drawn and must be considered as a serious winning chance. Tips: 10 6 7 1 Suggested Bet: EL JACKO (10) to win. Race 2: SKY RACING BINSHAW CLASSIC QUALIFYING HEAT 1 LIVURA (4) hasn’t been able to get into the race from bad barriers at his last two but expect him to be driven more positively tonight and be hard to beat. THEREUGO (12) has won seven of his last eight in scintillating fashion. He isn’t as well suited from the back line but must be respected. THE TRILOGY (10) drops in class after a close 2nd in the Bunbury Cup and is drawn to get a lovely run. AUSSIE DELIGHT (1) has performed fairly from bad draws at his two runs back from a break and looks ready to fire from the pole. Tips: 4 12 10 1 Suggested Bet: LIVURA (4) to win. Race 3: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION QUALIFYING HEAT 1 SOHO TRIBECA (2) has been beaten into 2nd placing at his last three starts but all have been huge runs and will be extremely hard to catch if he finds the top tonight. LAZARUS (9) has won 31 of 36 starts, all in top company and is clearly the horse to beat but has a wide draw and smaller track to overcome. SHANDALE (6) beat SOHO TRIBECA (3) three starts back and deserves to be 3rd pick. SIMPLY SUSATIONAL (3) should get a nice run from the draw and can be placed. Tips: 2 9 6 3 Suggested Bet: SOHO TRIBECA (2) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 No. 2 SOHO TRIBECA - Money Back Race 4: CLIPSAL BY SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC NORMS DAUGHTER CLASSIC MS PACE AMARETTO (7) has won seven of her last eight, with the defeat being a 2nd to Lennytheshark in the Victoria Cup. That form reads extremely well back to her own sex and she is the one to beat. A PICCADILLY PRINCESS (12) disappointed slightly in the NZ Cup but she has been racing against the best and is proven at this track. IDEAL ALICE (1) was a nice 3rd to Run Oneover last start and gets the barrier to shoot for an all the way victory. TRICKY STYX (3) is the state’s best mare when right and her recent trial win was impressive. Tips: 7 12 1 3 Suggested Bet: AMARETTO (7) to win. Race 5: CHOICES FLOORING INTER DOMINION QUALIFYING HEAT 2 LENNYTHESHARK (3) won the Inters here two years ago so is well suited at the track and has been ultra-impressive in winning his three starts this campaign. His Victoria Cup win was a stroll in the park and it is hard to see him being beaten tonight. TIGER TARA (7) has covered more ground than Burke and Wills but continues to race in great form and looks the only danger. MAJORDAN (1) is drawn to be a great place chance, whilst MOTU PREMIER (9) is flying but the draw has cruelled his chances of causing an upset. Tips: 3 7 1 9 Suggested Bet: LENNYTHESHARK (3) to win. Race 6: YES LOANS 4YO CLASSIC ULTIMATE MACHETE (1) was an awesome winner of the NZ Free For All when he sat outside Tiger Tara and outstayed that Inters prospect, rating 1.51.9 for the 1950m journey. That is clearly superior to anything his rivals can offer but the query could be his gate speed from the pole. WRAPPERS DELIGHT (2) was an eye-catching 3rd at his WA debut and is well drawn. HERRICK ROOSEVELT (11) lacks a turn of foot but looks to be WA’s best 4YO. RUNRUNJIMMMYDUNN (10) is drawn to follow the favourite and looks a great place chance. Tips: 1 2 11 10 Suggested Bet: HERRICK ROOSEVELT (11) each way. Race 7: WESTRAL INTER DOMINION QUALIFYING HEAT 3 CHICAGO BULL (2) became a millionaire when leading throughout to beat Soho Tribeca last start. He has won nine of his last 11 and can add one more to that tally from this draw. HAVE FAITH IN ME (5) is Australasia’s fastest pacer with a 1.47.5 victory to his name and has undoubted ability if he handles the track. SAN CARLO (6) is a boom horse from Victoria with 20 wins from 24 starts and must be respected. EGODAN (1) looks a great place chance if he sits behind the leader. Tips: 2 5 6 1 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (2) to win. Race 8: SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS THE KERSLEY FINAL OHOKA DARCY (6) didn’t look overly impressive in his heat win but rated a solid 1.56.9 for the 2130m. he has come up at good each way odds and should give a good sight. TAS MAN BROMAC (9) was the quickest heat winner when he led throughout in 1.56.7 and backed that up with a comfortable win in easier company. He isn’t as well drawn here but is untapped and may just be better than his rivals. FERNLEIGH REBEL (4) led throughout to win his heat and would give cheek if he found the top. EXTREME PRINCE (2) is the other winning chance. Tips: 6 9 4 2 Suggested Bet: OHOKA DARCY (6) each way. RACE 9: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MS PACE COSTA DEL MAGNIFICO (1) led throughout to beat ZACH MAGUIRE (7) in a similar field here last week. He can expect more pressure tonight but is still clearly the one to beat. ZACH MAGUIRE (7) has been runner up at his two starts back from a spell and should be thereabouts again. TACT MAJOR (10) was an impressive winner here last week and is drawn to get a perfect run in transit. AMERICAN BOY (5) is racing well enough to be considered but his best form is when he can find the lead. Tips: 1 7 10 5 SUGGESTED BET: COSTA DEL MAGNIFICO (1) to win. RACE 10: RETRAVISION MS PACE REAZA GRUNTER (3) has won both of her Australian starts and was ultra-impressive in leading throughout in 1.52.3 at her last start. This is obviously a big step up in class but her times suggest she can lead throughout again. SOKYS BIGBULLET (8) drops in class after leading throughout to win the Bunbury Cup last start but isn’t as well drawn. BETTER BOA (11) has won two of her last three in easier company but will be suited if they go hard. MIGHTY MR SHARKEY (12) is the next best and looks the only other winning chance. Tips: 3 8 11 12 SUGGESTED BET: REAZA GRUNTER (3) to win. Bet Now
