Michael McDermott’s Weekend Preview Posted on May 26, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 26th May 2017 Race 4 – No. 6 Blue Print Lad Solid beginner who has beaten less than a length last week in a good 22.86. Slightly better drawn tonight and can go much closer. Race 6 – No. 1 Monaro Monelli SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Won the Mandurah Cup in a PB of 27.31 in October from a similar draw. He is unbeaten here in red and has only missed the placings in 3 of 18 over the trip. Should prove hard to beat again. Race 12 – No. 1 Black Herc Can begin a race just as strongly as he can finish it on his night. He won 2 in a row here in March and has won over longer since. This is easier than the WA Derby heat he contested last start and should be respected from the draw. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 27th May 2017 Race 5 – No. 2 West On Hawkeye SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd Will be aided by the vacant box to his outside now with the scratching of his kennelmate. He didn’t have the best of luck early last week but produced a strong finish for 3rd behind Felton Bale & Astrozone. Expect him to be fighting out the finish again. Race 9 – No. 7 Max Profit Best to forget that he went around in the WA Derby Final last week and not having much luck. Led all the way in his heat when defeating eventual winner Sassy Ginger in a PB of 29.69 and will be out to make amends in this. Race 10 – No. 5 Induction Racing like a greyhound possessed at the moment with back to back wins over varying trips. Yet to miss a place in 7 starts from this trip and has a PB of 29.87 from this very draw. Should notch up the first of many hat tricks here. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 2, 4, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 4 / 1, 2, 3, 5 / 3, 5, 8. $50 for 34.72% TRIFECTA – Race 9 7 / 1, 2, 3 / 1, 2, 3, 6, 8. $3o for 250% FIRST FOUR – Race 10 5 / 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 / 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 / 3, 4, 6, 7, 8. $50 for 83.33% Bet Now!
