Michael McDermott’s Weekend Preview Posted on April 28, 2017May 11, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 28th April 2017 Race 5 – No.3 West on Maisie Talented chaser who has won much harder races than this in town recently. Her best was when leading all the way to take out the Sandi’s Me Mum Final over Mendoza Monelli earlier this month. A winner in 3 of 4 over this distance and looks hard to run down again. Race 9 – No.1 Junk Yard Wolf SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd. Found a bit of form last week when finishing strongly into 2nd behind kennelmate Semikhah over the trip. Saves his best for out wider but if he is capable of going one better in this line up if he is close enough on the turn for home. Race 7 – No.1 Max Profit Impressive all the way heat winner from a similar draw last week in 27.44. Has the early pace to hold the lead and with a couple of his main rivals drawn awkwardly, he could sneak away with a big enough break and notch up his second feature race win to sit beside his “The Shorts” Final victory in November. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 29th April 2017 Race 3 – No. 1 Lachlan Monelli Too good for his rivals when winning in this rug 3 starts ago in a solid 30.12. Placed in a Lew Dorsa heat a week later before having no luck in the final last week from the opposite side of the draw. Should be able to make amends back in red and in a much easier line up. Race 5 – No. 6 Victor Metti Has put together a couple of eye-catching runs in recent weeks, including a 3rd last start in FFA company from this very draw. This is a solid line up as well but it might be worth having a small Each Way wager on him while he is racing in his current mood. Race 10 – No. 7 Bundles Galore SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Will appreciate the smaller and easier line up this time around after a last start 3rd in a Mandurah Derby Heat behind Vanderworp. He does have his worst draw so far of his short career but he is improving with each run and should play a major role in the finish again. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 2, 5, 6 / 1, 2, 3, 8 / 1, 3, 5, 8 / 1, 3, 4, 7, 8. $50 for 15.62% TRIFECTA – Race 5 1, 2, 5, 6 Allways. $30 for 125% FIRST FOUR – Race 3 1 / 2, 3, 4, 7 / 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 / 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. $50 for 50% Bet Now!
