Race 2 – No.2  Baraka — SuperPick Profit Plus (Place)

Superbly bred chaser who has had 5 tries over the middle distance, both at Mandurah and here at headquarters, placing just the once. Don’t let that statistic put you off though as she does look ready to step back up to the trip after producing some strong finishes over the 520m in recent times. This is a solid line up but with luck in running, she does look a genuine each way prospect.

Race 4 – No. 4  Penny Monelli

Ultra consistent speed machine who defeated all but star of the future Eminent Reality in the Group 3 Young Stars Classic last week when leading everywhere but the post. This is not much easier tonight but she has her best draw since saluting earlier in the month and it would not surprise to see her lead all the way this time around.

Race 5 – No. 4  Got Us Good

With plenty of early pace right across the draw, the son of the 2012 Group 2 All Stars victor Hot Irish should find a handy spot early on in the event, camping just off the leading division before unleashing his powerful finishing burst to notch up his 5th win over the 520m journey. He will find this a bit easier than the FFA company he met last week and only needs average luck in running to salute.
