RACE 1

KISS BANG LOVE has no luck on debut and was immediately tipped out for a spell. Happy to speculate on her at the prices. DAZZLING POET ran well last week. He improves off that run and goes close. FIRE ANT showed some speed in her trial. IN THE BAG was asked for little.

Numbers – 5 – 1 – 7 – 2

Suggested Bet – KISS BANG LOVE WIN

RACE 2

This looks close to a raffle. COULD BE QUEEN has run well at both career starts. The bar plate going on is the query. DELANTERO is a debutante from the Peters/Williams camp and needs to be respected. GRAND CADEAU has shown enough in his trials to suggest he has a future. LATAKIA FRIARS will appreciate the rise to 1500m.

RACE 3

FINAL SALUTE looks a class above these. He won well first-up last campaign at Northam before tackling some better class 3yo races over the carnival including clashing fourth when in the Guineas when he came from last. He has trialled well and provided he is within striking distance on straightening he should be too good.  ALMALIEMOO is shooting for a winning hat trick after producing a couple of narrow but impressive wins. He looks the danger. MELTING POINT led and got the job done in a weak maiden last week. He looks a place chance again. KINGDOM AND EMPIRE next best.

RACE 4

This looks a good clash of some promising three-year-olds. MY GRACE produced a soft first-up win at Bunbury. She’ll appreciate the rise to 1400m and be hard to hold out with her big letdown speed. GENERAL HUSSON drops in class. He can lead and control. GANGBUSTER has had two trials for his return and was a first-up winner last campaign. The debutante STARBOUND has shown a bit at the trials.

RACE 5

LET’S TWIST got the job done at Pinjarra breaking his local duck. He has more upside than most of these and goes very close again. SUNSET SUPERMAN struggled in Saturday grade last start. This looks much more suitable. BLUSTERY is always competitive at this level. BOWL A DOOSRA can give a sight in front.

RACE 6

This looks a wide open race. WICKED HUNTER has been knocking on the door all campaign. From gate 1 he gets a soft run and only needs to see some clear to be in the finish. REGAL MOON was set a task on debut and still prevailed. KNUCKLEDOWN impressed in defeat first-up.

Numbers – 6 –  16  – 3 – 7

Suggested Bet –  WICKED HUNTER AND REGAL MOON

RACE 7

THUNDERBOOM is a very promising filly. She’s strung together consecutive impressive wins and should be making it a wining hat trick. CHECKERS appears the danger. He ran very well in a much better race last start. SONNEN is a handy type with place claims fresh.  THE BLUE NIPPER has claims.

RACE 8

Close to a raffle to finish the program. PARADINI arguably has the strongest form and with some luck in running she can be hard to hold out. MUSICAL ART has claims if he can reproduce his effort from two starts back. BUSTER ANDY has returned to racing in good form. BIG CABBAGE looks just about ready.
